Logline: 20 years after an outbreak of mono forced a high school hockey team to forfeit the state championship to their heavily favored rivals,
the team's captain decides to reunite his old team and challenge their rivals to the game that never was, giving them all a shot at redemption…

A former high school hockey phenom for the Edison, PA Eagles. He breaks the team's cardinal rule by allowing himself to be seduced by a "Taft girl" after a game, which results in the whole team contracting mono and having to forfeit the state
championship to rival Ty and his team. Twenty years later, he's married to his high school sweetheart and has a son Ryan with hockey ambitions of his own, but has never gotten over it. It rubs him wrong that Ryan enrolls in Ty's hockey camp and idolizes
him for an NHL career Murphy feels he himself could have had were if not for his mistake. He challenges Ty to a game to decide who would have won had they played for the title and Ty agrees. Murph rallies his old teammates and does his best to coach them into shape to have a chance, but neglects his
family along the way. After things all fall apart and it looks like another forfeit, he finds what truly matters and uses that spirit to inspire his team and they play and come back from behind to win in overtime.

A player on the Eagles hockey team with a flair for passionate play and anger management issues. Twenty years out of high school, he's now a regular in the stands at pee wee league games where he wears face paint and unloads on the refs and
players, to parents' shock. He backs Murphy up in the quest to reclaim their old glory and helps visit and convince the others to come on board. As Murph's wingman in the game, he helps goad the other team into making penalties to help the Eagles
skate to victory.
