Devblog #18 – Mirror's Edge

Hello everyone, LoafyLemon here!

In today's post, I've got two brand new sketches of our (yet another) favourite witch, Tonks. First up is an adorable little scene that takes place in a public setting. Why two different scenes you ask? Well, we decided to switch it up a bit and give you all something to enjoy from both ends of the spectrum. After each lesson with Tonks, Genie will receive 'tutoring' in a private setting. We plan to have multiple scenes like this one.

Now let's dive into the first sketch! Let me paint you a picture: It's a typical day in the life of Tonks. She's teaching Defense Against Dark Arts in her classroom, and as per usual, she's stealing hearts (and minds) with her... Ahem, I mean her knowledge and wit. But things take a turn when Genie brings in a mirror. Now, I'm not sure why he would do this in class, but hey, Genie's got his own reasons, right? Anyway, the mirror is poised at just the right angle that it reflects Tonks' backside in all its glory. Oops! Talk about unintentionally presenting yourself in public...

Of course, that is merely a glimpse into the actual chain of events we have planned for 'Lessons with Tonks' event chain, including more varied scenarios and states of undress.

Now, on to the second sketch! After the aforementioned classroom fiasco, the students are dismissed, and Genie is left alone with Tonks. As he tries to make amends for the accidental exhibition, they end up in a broom closet together. What happens next is best described as a lesson in oral defence against dark arts. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

In this scene, Tonks is on her knees, and is using Genie's broomstick... Wait, let me start over. In this scene, Tonks is on her knees, and is speaking in tongues... No, that's not right... Anyway, I'm not a writer, so that's all you're getting from me. The rest is up to your imagination!

From the artistic side of things, the sketches are coming along nicely, and my skills are improving every day. But remember, these are still works in progress. We've got plenty of time to refine and perfect them before we call it a wrap.

I hope these sketches have piqued your interest! If you like what you see, drop a like, or a comment below. I read all of them, and it's always great to hear feedback, it means a lot to me.

Thank you for reading, and I'll catch you next time!

Signed,

LoafyLemon
