Progress Report - January

Hey everyone!

Here's our first progress report of 2020!

We hope you made it into the new year well, and had a joyful holiday!

After taking a short break over the holidays, and some people on the team getting ill, work on the next update has resumed!

This month we've made good progress on Hermione's updated model, and added a bunch of her new clothing into the game.

We're going to post several teasers over the next couple of days, so look forward to that ;)

Team Silver

Hermione:

Hermione has received a batch of new & old outfits, all converted into the new wardrobe system, granting her the same features and clothing customizability our other witches get to enjoy!

All outfit pieces have been split into separate objects as well, allowing you to mix & match them freely with other pieces, or simply unequip pieces you don't want or like.

Furthermore, we’re finalising her model update by adding her facial expressions back into the game.

Wardrobe:

We have added a new QoL feature, colour swatches, that allow you to save your favourite colours for ease of usage.

On top of that, the colour picker will store the last thirty selected colours in a history tab, giving you the ability to reapply previous colours if you want to.

Performance & Gameplay:

We've also made a couple of other big and small changes, to improve the overall performance and playability of the game, as well as allowing us to add new content more seamlessly.

The layering capabilities of character images have been improved, including the addition of various new effects when a character is being displayed, such as eyes blinking and smooth transitions between expressions.
