Date Night update #3

Happy weekend, and thanks for your support as always. I've been trying to finish a lot of pending projects lately, both sets and videos, but I've also been continuing work on my scuffed bootleg visual novel Date Night. If you haven't read the past updates/announcements/whatever, Date Night is a short game with a couple of branching paths, taking the player through one night between university students Felix and May and a mysterious stranger with let's say a talent for persuasion. The focus here is obviously NTR, but I have been working on writing four separate paths so that hopefully everyone will find something to enjoy. Yeah, that does include a vanilla route, though it's honestly just a few lines and an ending right now, and that might not change. The three other paths and endings will fall under the broad NTR tag, though all with very different outcomes (and I'll just say that hopefully the netorase, hardcore NTR heartbreak, and feminization fans will all be happy with at least one of them.) Right now, I'm mostly done with the script - unless I decide to expand on one of the routes, I think it's about 70-80% complete. But that's just in reference to the text, because I'll also have a lot of editing and finetuning to do. I also have almost 100 still images complete, edited, and inserted into the script. And the best news (for me at least): I finally figured out how to play video with dialogue running over it. I currently have 13 video loops either complete or in the process right now, and these will be included in the endings of each path, 3-4 to an ending. I've included two extra ending screenshots and two loops in the link below if you'd like to see those. Just a note about the loops: they don't have any sound effects because I plan to try to insert those through code in Ren'Py itself, though if it doesn't work, I will just give up and add them into the video loops themselves. I hope to have Date Night complete and released early to supporters here sometime next month, and I may post another update before that. More exclusive stuff to come next weekend as well.
