Band of Brothers Episode 9 - Full Uncut Reaction

I have been enjoying watching the series with you two. I was thinking that during the time this was happening to Easy Company your home the Jersey Island were occupied by the Nazi. Thankfully the Allied Command did not consider the Island's military important, so no attacks or bombing took place. Leaving a beautiful and safe place for Millie.

In 1958 my mother traveled from Ohio to Charleston SC to be in the wedding of her best friend, Bunny. The Day after she arrived Hurricane Hazel slammed into Charleston. The railway lines were destroyed and my mother had no way to get home. She stayed at Bunny's house and was forced to get a temporary job for income while they sorted out the rail lines. She worked at a Chinese Restaurant in Downtown Charleston. My father was working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and living downtown on Nassau Street. He and a group of hid friends ended up in my mom's Restaurant after a night of Clubbing and without ever seeing her before walked up a told her that he was going to marry her. They started dating and my mom NEVER went back to Ohio again. I wouldn't be here to write this today if it wasn't for Hurricane Hazel. So Hurricanes not only destroy, sometimes they Create... me and my son are living proof. Rick, Charleston SC

I know this is out of place, but I recently saw your reaction to Hurricanes and I didn't want this story to get lost on YouTube. I'm going to start the story on a fresh post. I think Y'all will like it. Rick, Charleston SC

I hope you include "episode 11", We Stand Alone Together. It's really worth it.

This one hits hard, and I think it's so important to have this glimpse into what really happened in the camps. I've heard that many of the Allied soldiers who liberated the camps suffered serious psychological issues because their brains could not process what they were witnessing. To answer your earlier question, Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) was the president who died on April 12, 1945. He had been president for twelve years and led the country during WWII. Upon his death, Harry S Truman became president, and four months later Truman made the decision to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. If you ever get a chance to react to a short video about FDR's presidency, I think you would find him very interesting.

Episides 2,9and 10 are favorites. I really enjoyed this series and look forward to the next. My wife and I just watched the series ending Ted Lasso and the entire series is amazing. His character is SO different from anything on TV today. I know y'all are going to love it and it will be fun to watch it again. Rick, Charleston SC
