2023-04-08 22:07:28 +0000 UTCSWEET TEA RECIPE. 1/2 Gallon of Water in a Pot. ADD 2 CUPS OF SUGAR, 6-Tea Bags and bring to a boil. VERY IMPORTANT TO PUT THE SUGAR IN BEFORE YOU TURN ON THE HEAT. This makes the sugar take on a slight Carmel flavor. Turn off the heat when it comes to a boil. STIR, to dissolve any Sugar in the pot and let sit to room temperature. Pour into a Gallon pitcher and add ICE to fill up the Gallon pitcher. In the Summer we add a sliced LEMON. This recipe came from my Great Great Grandmother. congratulations again, Rick, Charleston SC
