Blossom Amaterasu Figure: Sprint 2026 (public post)

Just showcasing some exclusive content shared a little to subs and that with which Blossom+ members get to see live updates and wip progress on!

Compressing from an earlier post, this is a 3 tier figure that I am creating to share my love for Okami Amaterasu after getting so excited for the Okami Sequel that was announced (with no current time of posting expected date of release). I'll be looking to have this 3D model printed and ready for you to custom paint irl hopefully by this coming spring :)

I'm almost done with roughing out the whole second stage of rough-in-modeling before I go back in and actually do some tightening up to begin 3d resin printing it and preparing for the 3 different purchase tiers you can buy this model for!

• straight from the printer: there may be visible layer lines, i will not be cleaning up any part of the model it's straight from printer to shipping box. This will be the cheapest purchase option and recommended for those on a tight budget that also don't mind using their own materials to smooth, sand, and then paint and finish from there. (don't worry, this model will be cut apart that can be put together easily for ease of access to tight areas!)

• primed and ready: this option is best for those that don't have the time, or materials to properly polish and give themselves a smooth and consistent base before applying their own choice of paints. This tier of model sale will have me layer fill, sand smooth, and redefine any details that may have been missed or need sharpening up from the printer, before getting a solid neutral grey base tone to assist in buffing up whatever colour paint you decide to use when you customize her :)

• full figure painted: this model sale point is for those that don't want to do any custom work, and just want a fully polished figure to put together after shipping and then enjoy it on their shelves (or jar <-<' ) This would be the most expensive option but I hope with my further testing, polishing, and experimenting I can find a good balance point for a price to keep it as friendly as possible (hand painted figures are NOT cheap! and that's normal!)

STL files (for at home-printing or otherwise) will NOT be available for download/purchase for this model at this time or the foreseeable future.
