GUIDE: Lower Render Latency & Improve FPS in Assetto Corsa

Lots of people would like to know how their performance is in real-time and see the lag spikes. CSP Render Stats provides a graph of how long the game is taking to render. If you are getting lag spikes, you will see it in CSP render stats. ALSO, because it's CSP render stats you should also open CSP settings in-game to change them and improve your performance.
Step 1 (Enable CSP Render Stats)
- Open your game and move your mouse to the right side of the screen
- Look for Render Stats CSP and open it
- Take a minute and read of all the options, and click the arrows most of these options are CSP settings!

Step 2 (Open CSP Settings In-Game)
- Hit your windows key, or go to your task bar
- Look for the little arrow and/or content manager icon
- Right click content manager icon and select "Custom Shaders Patch Settings"
- Look through your Render Latency, see what is the most inconsistent, and now change those settings on CSP!

Step 3 (Fixing Bad Latency)
- Look at the blue/orange graph, one is your CPU one is your GPU in time (milliseconds)
- Scroll down the render stats and hit the arrows until you see options that match Custom Shaders Patch
- Use Custom Shaders Patch to turn off the option and see if performance improves!

it should be noted that changing your CSP settings in-game like this can sometimes make your game look bad or remove your post process filter - restart your game and it will be fixed
