AU 1920
Added 2017-02-06 19:08:50 +0000 UTCI wanted to try with a different alternative universe...this time I thought about the 1920's. I imagine Billy coming from a bourgeois family (Manhattan) and Teddy from a working class family (Brooklyn), they know each other in a hidden gay bar in the city. I'm sorry I'm not very aware of NY history, but with a bit of fantasy it wouldn't be bad.

2017-02-07 04:14:54 +0000 UTCIn the twenties, they likely met at a bar in Harlem or the Village, if I remember my history correctly. Harlem was a hub of all sort of "transgressive" activity at the time, Jazz was still considered somewhat scandalous. Greenwich Village was for the most part a bohemian enclave.
