Thunderous Business: Info and Sneak Peek
Added 2019-10-23 17:00:03 +0000 UTCAs I announced in yesterday's post, I should be able to release my new game, Thunderous Business, later this week. This post is to give people a better idea of what to expect.
Thunderous Business takes place in the same universe as Devilish Business: a universe in which belief is power. You play as a recent college graduate who has a not-so-chance-encounter with Zeus, a god dying from lack of belief. He offers you the mantle - and powers - of High Priest in a last ditch attempt to revive his following and save him from eternal oblivion. As High Priest, it is your job to spread the faith throughout your city, and maybe even beyond.
Thunderous Business is built with Twine, features real pictures (as opposed to drawn or rendered art), and most resembles games like A Spell for All, Adam and Gaia, The Company, etc.
The current plan for the game is for it to start as a kind of dating sim/harem builder but, as you progress further along in the story, the perspective and goals move outwards into something like a business sim (with property ownership, employee management, etc.) It's an ambitious goal, if I do say so myself, but I've got lots of ideas that I'd like to get out of my head and into a game.

2019-10-24 02:18:27 +0000 UTCPregnancy, while it will be present eventually, wont be a main theme of the game. Like you hinted at, it's really hard to do with real porn. As for a sex cult of Zeus, Zeus hints at those thoughts early in the game: only the MC can see Zeus, so he has to trust you to spread his belief correctly. There isn't any content in this direction yet, but as the story progresses the MC will decide the direction the belief will go, and it's up to the player whether you take Zeus' advice or not.

Zeus was known for his exceptional number of bastard children anyway. If that's the case how would you represent pregnancy with real life porn? A Spell for All use modified pics that are time and work intensive (quality dropped lately), Adam and Gaia uses only a gif or two and sometimes drawn hentai arts, and the Company put them to the end so I am not sure about that until it come out. P.S. So if Zeus is dying from lack of faith wouldn't having the MC start a sex cult in his name practically kill him as a storm god and make a sex god instead? Just curious.
