I just got back from a mini vacation visiting some friends at New York Comic Con. It was quite a nice visit and I wish I were still there, but I need to get back to work. I probably also bought too many prints while I was there too... >v>;;; I also got a few indie / lesser known comics as well. I hope they're as good as the cover art makes them seem to be.

How the heck is it Friday already? Geez... Time is moving too fast... I had this loosely sketched out sitting in a panel waiting line last Saturday... I'm still too inexperienced with working with it to find a nice and natural pressure setting to use it more regularly. I got to play around with my friend's iPad while I was New York and found that their settings were much nicer to work with. I wonder if it's due to their paper-like screen protector...? Probably. But they also had a nice, portable table with a cut out for the iPad that helped feel more natural to draw on. I hope they make one of those for my specific model. The short session working on a paper-like screen felt real nice.

I'm really enjoying the look of latex I'm able to emulate now. //v// Makes me feel pretty accomplished to finally be able to render a look for it that I'm mostly satisfied with.
