Bambie - the tale with a happy ending

We found Bambie offered for sale as a combat dog in one Facebook group. Seeing her soulless look and sad eyes, we couldn't stand by and do nothing.
We burst into action immediately, raised barely enough money and contacted the so called owner to arrange a meeting and get Bambie out of there. We managed to get Bambie back with us, and found out that she has a chip, and she has actually been stolen from her original owner around a year ago.
This gave us a lot of hope regarding her future, and luckily we were able to contact and track her owner. From here onwards this story turned into a fairy tale as we watched her get reunited with her family, and escape the dreadful fighting pits as she heads back to her home.
This story caught the eye of the public and media and received a lot of support and attention.
In these grim days, telling stories like this are really a special source of joy for us. This is why we fight, this is why we need your support more then ever!
