There's a whole new problem now. PowerDirector - so fixated on adding more and more AI-generating features - is having more problems lately with basic tasks. Today was an absolute nightmare - if the review was closed, upon reopening would show that the video portion of some clips was cut. From the looks of it, it would take the audio of a clip, associate it with the video (or even a still image) of another clip, and link them together, erasing the video portion of the clip in the process. So the already long job required me to keep redoing parts of it trying to not lose anything.
It's for that reason that the background video is just the audio for now. I'd wanted to get the video of it edited tonight, but I'm way too exhausted after squandering so much time.
