I'm working today on the blue channel a bit. I realize that it's been 10 years this month since Blip shut down and so it's probably time I updated the channel a little bit. Been cleaning up some of the playlists already.
We took Phantom to the vet and he got some antibiotics, and while his fur hasn't gone back the skin finally starts to look normal again. Not sure what did it but so long as nothing else goes wrong it'll all be good.
As for me, I've been struggling the past month to adjust my sleep rhythm. It's ultimately easier to push forward than to go to sleep earlier, it's something I've done before, but this time is different. I'm really having a rough time of it, not sure if that's age setting in but damn, it's been brutal staying awake once the exhaustion hits, like the sandman is just walking up and clobbering me over the head with his bag.
I've got some more stuff coming this week (I know I said it last week but Enterprise is a harder nut than other shows).

2025-08-29 23:35:47 +0000 UTCOne thing I found very helpful when adjusting my sleep schedule, something that makes going to sleep earlier much easier, was to turn off all screens about two hours before bedtime. Your body adjusts its rhythm partially based on light, and when you use a computer or television or phone you're staring directly into a light source. Also, using a computer or e-reader or whatever is a much more active experience than reading a book or whatever; even when using a Kindle set to emit no light at all, it makes it harder to fall asleep than reading a traditional book does.
