Alien 3

Imperfect Organism begins with Alien 3. This is the longest one yet.

What annoys me is that I just can't get the Assembly Cut off my Blu Ray into the computer, so it's a "take my word for it" on that part. It just doesn't want to be read.

These always take so much longer than I plan for. Part of it is, as I'm editing, I'll come across something and I'll need to go back and change something in light of the new info. Most egregiously was that my research had said that Siskel & Ebert gave the original Alien two thumbs down. Actually getting a copy of it, I discovered that, while they were critical of it, they still both gave it a thumbs up. So that had to get corrected. And I wound up on a wild goose chase about the Alien Director's Cut that I saw on a VHS tape, which threw my info into doubt that it was made specifically for the Alien Quadrilogy. I finally tracked down that it was a limited run on VHS in the UK after the Quadrilogy had come out. Little things like this crop up all the time, turning a few hours of work into a "It's after 4AM, are we almost there yet?"
