I'm still trying to migrate from my old system to the new one. There's lots of stupid problems that keep coming up to slow it down - for instance, not wanting to pay for the new version of software I already own when the old stuff works fine, but it's having trouble moving.
A big one is that Cyberlink (who creates the video editor I use) has an update that is meant to streamline locating files that might no longer be in the place they were fifteen years ago. It used to be it'd ask you as it came across them, then loaded the page. Now it tallies them up and asks after. The difference? Doing it after means that every clip forgets its start point, so the episode just repeatedly starts over. To get around this, I essentially need to use an old version to open the file and find all the stuff that's been moved, then save it so that the new editor can edit it. Setting up both versions and not having them fight is another stupid problem.
