Aoba update #2

Hello and happy weekend my lovely patrons!

I got a new update for you girls (and guys) 😆

I've been working on putty work for him and I'm happy to finally be done with phase one of that, since I won't be painting his front thingy that clovers everything as per our poll results, I'm just keeping the belt and the thong-belt thingy to cover his sleepy guy 😏 so I'll be able to display him full frontal nude, sleepy guy nude with optional belt and sleepy guy in thong thingy... I'm sorry I'm not into BDSM so I have no clue what all those pieces of clothing are called 🤣

Since the original pvc had flexible vinyl done for the removable parts, I had to mod my resin version with magnets because resin can't bend unless you apply heat to it. So the simple solution was magnets! 😆

I also managed to figure out how to get those hand cuff and foot bondage straps, again these pieces were made in flexible vinyl originally, and you can basically open them and close them without breaking, but I they wouldn't slide into the hands or feet cuz of the sleeve designs, so I figured I split the straps and cut in a not so visible area that I can easily cover with the chain link decoration.

I can definitely say this was the most difficult part to figure out how to work around these pieces to be able to attach them without breaking them or scratching the paint. Since the areas where it had those little pegs was thicker than rest, I was able to insert my smallest magnets and it worked like a charm!

And Like I said, all I need to do next is sand all the excess putty (that isn't a lot) and I should be able to add the first layer of primer to see what other imperfections come up with it.

And I also filled that small hole (for the original peg) on his sleepy guy so I can display him without that ugly connection hole. I find it hilarious how some people on MFC take pictures of him at an angle so that you won't see the key hole 🤣 we won't have that problem here 👍😏

Also, I was looking at close up pictures of the pvc... and WTH?! Is his hair really that fucked up? 😱 This is the reason I don't buy PVCs personally, because I would not be able to stand such horrific quality and finish. And this was Native... like super expensive figures Native.. yikes! 

I will bring you a new update once I've sanded and primed him 😘

BTW, Welcome to all the new faces here in my resin monkey army! I hope you enjoy Aoba's process, what you see here are just small picture updates but there will be a FULL painting video of him when done just like Maria 😄

So don't worry, there will be plenty of dick jokes for then 🤣
