UPDATE: 11/12/2022

Hey everyone! It’s been a long while since I’ve done a formal update for all of you. Mainly cuz there hasn’t really been any really big updates to make, but BOY do I have some updates for you now. As always I want to welcome all of the new watchers and fallowers that have found their way over to me. Some how I snuck pass 2,000 watchers on DA and didn’t even notice. WOW 2,000 THATS INSANE! Seriously thank you guys so very very much. I never imagined 5 years ago when I made that first FOREVER PINK image that I’d find myself here. With all of these watcher on DA and the number of patreons currently helping me in one of the most difficult times in my life, I’m literally speechless and have no idea how to thank all of you. Hell I worry that my work can’t live up to the expectations you set out for me. All I can say is: thank you! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I could not do this without each and everyone of you.

So a bit about what’s going on behind the scenes for me in my life. Most of you guys don’t care about this sorta thing, and I totally get that, but it does effect my work here so it’s why I bring it up. The Halloween season is over and with so is the day job that I recently found. My last big update I talked about how I lost my day job of over 4 years, and was scrambling to find a replacement. While I did find one, sadly it was only seasonal which means I’m back to hunt for a new one. Jobs that pay well are few and far between which makes this search all the more challenging. However I do have some very hopeful interviews lined up so here’s hoping I won’t be out of commission for too long. In addition to that, I’ll be moving very soon and if you thought finding a job right now was tough… whoof! Rent has increased by $300-400 a month, with most places starting at $2,200. THATS CRIMINAL! This in particular has thrown my bipolar into countless unhealthy spirals making it hard to do much of anything, including drawing (see I told you would relate to here). I know I’ll figure something out, just right now it feels very bleak. Though I will say these last few weeks I’ve really started to feel better cuz of all the new and exciting inspiration I’ve had. So let’s focus on that now

HIATUS

yes, yes, I know, I know, another hiatus. I hate doing these and I was really tried to avoid it this time, but honestly it’ll really be worth it I promise! The plan (key word being plan) is to only be away for the rest of November and to return at the beginning of December. Now I hardly ever meet those goals so it might be longer, especially with everything I have planned and want to have done, but that is the hope. I’m going to take this time to, you guested it, create a new backlog. Unfortunately kinktober really hurt my last backlog, as the time normally spent to keep it up was used to participate in that event. Sadly that didn’t go nearly as well as I’d hoped it would, but that’s fine as if it wasn’t for that, I would be working on one of the new things we’ll be talking about. This time off will also be used to prepare and prep for all of these larger scale projects I have planned so that there won’t be delayed, I can just jump right into them. The last things is, I’ll be spending time to move a lot of my work to other platforms. What do I mean by that?

TWITTER (& TICTOK?)

Shocker DA, isn’t doing well as a site. Many artist are jumping ship and leaving DA behind. As of me writing this, I AM NOT LEAVING DEVIANTART, at least not yet. My entire audience is there and I have so many close connections and friends that I don’t want to leave. I’ve been on this site almost since the beginning and the thought of leaving it completely is scary. That being said, if I want to continue to grow and do bigger and better things I can’t ONLY rely on this dying platform. During this hiatus I’ll be uploading ALL of my content that is here onto twitter, and once I come back, I’ll be posting there the same day as I do on DA. I might also experiment and looking into doing some video content as well. What that is, I’m not sure yet. But if you guys have something in might let me know. NOW here’s where you come in, and where I start to show my age, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE TWITTER. Now I get the general concept and basics of it, but uploading and growing on twitter is very different than it is here. I need a partner, someone whose been on the platform for a while, understands the ins and outs, and knows how to grow there. So please, if you think that’s you reach out! Help me expand my reach to potentially lots more people. I’m even willing to compensate you, in what way, I’m not sure yet but we can have that conversation when dealing with this. I value each and everyone of you as well as you time, and I want to honor that with something. So please don’t be shy, reach out to help this “old fart” learn how to use the internet. COMMISSIONS & THE BOUND LABELS

So my content has been dominated by my comic inspired covers featuring themed characters and ideas, each with their own labels. The commissions I take on are added to these labels, weathers it’s one that I’ve already made, or with me creating all new ones just for them. These will not be going away. I still have many ideas for these and I’ll be using the hiatus to work on some of them. I also still have a couple of commissions I’m working on (you guys know who you are and I’m sorry for the delay, they should be done very soon) and while I’m not OFFICIALLY opening them up at this time, they’re also technically not closed either. So if you have an idea that you want done, shoot me a note or a chat and tell me what it is. I can’t promise I’ll take it on but you never know! That’s how DC BOUND 13: THE EVOLUTION OF BONDAGE, got made. Someone had an idea, pitched it, and I was like “THIS HAS TO BE MADE!” Just keep in mind there’s a lot I’m going to be working on, so I might not have time to take it on.

COMICS

So comics have done very VERY well lately and I couldn’t be more excited. I LOVE comics more then anything, and the fact that the few little ones I’ve done for you guys have done so incredibly well is so amazing. Which means I WILL BE DOING A LOT MORE COMICS. At the moment, I’m hard at work for one as we speak and I’m very happy with the first page so far. I’m hoping to have this done for you soon. I’ve also forged a partnership with someone to develop something completely original! If you read the comments, particularly during kinktober, then you might have an idea of what it might be. Developing this original idea is what’s going to be taking up most of the hiatus as a lot of work needs to be done. Beyond the pages themselves, characters have to be designed, graphics have to me made, and things need to be done for the merch. Oh yes you heard me right!

MERCHANDISE

(Where the real money is made)

I’ve wanted to do merch for this page for a long while now. I’ve asked a few times now if this was something you guys would be interested in, but didn’t hear one way or the other. However I’m so excited for this new comic I figured what the hell why not! The plan is to have items like decals, shits, maybe even some mugs. I’ll be designing things that actually hide the kinkiness of the graphics so you can strut out in public with people not knowing just how naughty that shirt really is, but if you really want to flaunt you kink flag there will also be full on bondage stuff too. More information about this stuff will be made available once I have a better idea of what exactly it will be and how I’ll be doing this but know that it is coming!

BONDAGE BATTLES

One of my favorite things to do is engage with you guys. Have conversations, share ideas, and even (when I have time) role play. I’ve wanted to do more of that and find a way to incorporate that into my art while also stretch my legs drawing other things and characters. Introducing BONDAGE BATTLES! A fun kinky play on the age old nerd past time “who would win in a fight”? With this I’ll create a pairing of popularity characters and pin them against one another, but it’ll be up to YOU as to who wins and loose. A poll with be posted on patreon for the official voting, but I encourage comments to be made to help sway the votes. The looser will fall prey to the winner and end up in bondage! I’ve already got some awesome pairings lined up and I can’t wait to start. If you guys happen people you want to see through down, let me know now!
