Demonic Tree Light Novel + Job opportunity!

I've got quite an exciting announcement to make today! Demonic Tree is now available in US bookstores in the format of a Light Novel! Look, there we are next to Reborn as a Vending Machine... which seems rather fitting lmao. This actually happened a while ago, but I was warned about possible paper shortages or other issues that could hinder the launch, so I held off mentioning it until I verified its existence.

I'm not making this announcement asking for any sales, ratings, or anything. I just wanted to let you know that it exists for anyone who would like to add it to their collection.

What is a light novel? It's essentially a short book that features illustrations. Book 1 of Tree is quick chonky, so it was split into three light novel volumes. Inside, you can expect to find manga-style images of scenes every few chapters, such as the attached image of Stella being gifted her maple earrings by Ashlock.

Now for the Job opportunity!

As mentioned a LONG time ago, Demonic Tree is going to be produced into a webcomic. To be honest, very little progress has been made on it since that announcement nearly two years ago. The reason for this is a lack of a scriptor, whose job it is to adapt the book into a visual medium. My publisher is making an active effort to find a scriptor, and I'm doing my part by asking you guys.

A scriptor's job is to convert the webcomic into a text script that the art team can follow. It does not involve any drawing.

If anyone reading this would like to take a shot at working alongside me to adapt Tree into a webcomic, please send Actus (his Discord username is itsactus) a message. He is the head of Aethon's webcomic branch. Make sure to mention in your DM that you're applying for this scripting position. Some kind of experience as an author or in the space is obviously preferred, but some of the best scriptors working with Aethon had zero experience to start with, so anyone who feels up to the challenge can apply.

While I won't publicly mention it, the pay is good, and it will only take a few hours out of your week, so it could totally be a side hustle!
