hey! i hope you're having a great day. as for updates, i have two ideas im currently working on ... the first one is hopefully slated for october, which will be a video on HP lovecraft and his influence on japanese media. mainly focused around the dunwich horror OVA. and the innsmouth movie.

the thing im gathering notes for right NOW though, is a retrospective on cutie honey! im currently watching a ton of cutie honey anime and reading up about her. the main focus of the vid will probably be hideaki anno's 2004 film. but i'm also going to touch a lot on go nagai and why i like his work. hopefully there'll be notes on the history of magical girls too, but that might be a bit much.

as for life updates: well, the winter is harsh. as some of you may know, i currently don't have gas in my house (the installation broke). so i'm using some electric heating + an old school furnace. it's been very tough and mentally exhausting sometimes. so my ability to work is very spotty. plus, im having to do some bloodwork, so that keeps me busy.

hopefully i'll be able to make something out of this idea though!
