Of course, Verity-Ann comes in clutch again. This sumptuous production entranced me from first viewing. As Kemi, I, too, am enthralled with the music, some of Lloyd Webber's finest, imo. My only quarrel was that the disfigurement wasn't that shocking. But that does lend more credence to the idea that his ugliness was spiritual. I'll be saving up for another musical soon, darling. Love to all.

2024-08-30 16:47:08 +0000 UTCThis is literally my favorite musical. No matter the passing of time when i first saw it in San Francisco at age 10 to now i have felt a connection to this musical. Franc DβAmbrosio (the opera singer in Godfather 3) and Lisa Vroman were my first Phantom and Christine :p I remember i cried so hard my mother and grandmother had to assist me out of the theater after the show. The film singers did wonderful. Gerard and Emmy have great chemistry together. If you do get a chance watch the 25th anniversary of the show. Its great to see different varieties. Note: the song during the credits the song Learn to be Lonely was sung by Minnie Driver aka Carlotta. Careful Kemi. The Phantom has a way of drawing you in. Might have to get a few Michael Crawford clips of him as Erik. Hope youll enjoy this and find it as special as i do. Love you Kemi
