2025-02-19 19:36:32 +0000 UTCThank you, as always, for this reaction! "Superman II" was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid; I remember seeing it in the movie theater six times. Back then, that was quite something! I am not sure how the writers decided which powers to give this incarnation of Superman, but obviously, they just needed to come up with ideas to fit the story. I don't know if these powers were ever used in other movies or television shows. Here, Superman did indeed kiss Lois' memory away because he didn't want her to be in emotional pain, and he realized that a romantic relationship could never work between them (at least in this universe). In other versions of Superman, Lois and Superman were married and even had children. I am not familiar with these stories; perhaps some of your other viewers can help fill in those blanks. Fun fact that I did not know until I saw the credits watching your reaction: The writer of "Superman II" is Mario Puzo, who won two Oscars as writer of "The Godfather" and "The Godfather, Part II." I thought you would enjoy seeing Niagara Falls! It truly is a beautiful place. Thank you again, Kemi! You are appreciated! 😊
