And yes Voldy is like a Wizard Hitler. Blood purity for wizards is similar in concept to blood purity between races. The Death Eater hoods even kind of look like Klan hoods too.

The reason Kreature answers Harrys questions and does what he asks him to do is because he also now belongs to Harry from Sirius.

When they tried to get her to do it again and she couldn’t they proceeded to beat her. After that she became withdrawn and refused to do magic.

2022-06-28 22:01:46 +0000 UTCRegarding the wands - A wand is not connected to lifeforce but there is a definite relationship between the wand and the wizard. A wizard can get a new wand but there will be a new relationship. Thinking of it as a spouse was a good thought. You can divorce your spouse and find a new one but it will be a different relationship. If you remember in Chamber of Secrets - Ron damaged his wand in the car crash which is why is spells wouldn't work. He ended up getting a new one that was his first personal wand because that first one that got damaged was a hand me down from one of his brothers. Lucius looked/sounded so defeated because he has been broken down, sent to Azkaban, realized what he has really gotten himself into, and now Daddy Voldy is asking for his wand - his right hand essentially. (Also, Voldy didn't break it, he just broke off the extra stuff Lucius had added to incorporate it into his walking stick)

You're totally on point about wands having a deep connection to their owners. A borrowed or stolen wand won't work as well as one you own or one you win. Love your reactions and insights!

There are things that make much more sense in the books. And there are some beautiful passages. I hope you get a chance to read them!. But i will say the story of the Deathly Hallows is beautifully told in this movie.
