Love what you said about the beat (and overall attitude) being "resilient." I've always thought this is just a really beautiful rock song. I love melodic rock. It's unusual for the 'fade out' at the end of a song to be a favorite part, but it is here.

Sometimes a change of scenery helps to move on from a stalemate of a relationship, like constant bitter cold weather where the sun hardly shines. Moving on to those bright and warm abundant sun shining days where it's easier to handle the winding roads where it's never short of adventurous.....but loads of fun. 😉
