2025-06-08 04:34:26 +0000 UTCMaybe you figure all of this out later in the reaction, but if Mami's ribbons touch Homura, she won't be frozen in time; apparently Mami's ribbons count for the "touching" condition of Homura's time stop. That's why Homura tried to remove the ribbon from her leg before the fight, and succeeded with that at the end there (but Mami had already replaced herself with a ribbon clone - Mami is just super talented). In fact, when Mami goes to the kitchen to prepare some more tea at Homura's request, you can see the yellow ribbon for like half a second - that's when she put a (invisible i guess) ribbon on Homura. She got suspicious since Homura hadn't even finished her current cup of tea.

It's really rare for it to get any reactions which is a shame because it's by the same author as monogatari and around the same quality. It never really got its chance to shine since it never got a proper release on any streaming service, going straight to Blu-Ray, from what I understand. The novels are known to be one of nisio's best works. And it's only 8 episodes long.
