The Monthly Mutation

Every month, we go through a little mutation of our own. Some Patrons discover us and join the squad, while others move on to new adventures. That’s the natural cycle of Patreon life. But this year, we want to keep things a little more transparent, a little more hyped, and a lot more us. So here’s our attempt at keeping everyone, new and veteran, on the same page.

Recap Time

• Unity is being retired. We’re officially putting it in the Phantom Zone. The Android version will be upgraded, patched with the missing content, and released for PC/Win. There will be a slight dip in image quality at first, but we’ll buff that out over time.

• We’ve ditched the 2-month cycle in favour of a "completion-based" one. That means we’re focused on quality over quantity, with updates planned every 2 to 4 months. And yes, you’ll hear about timelines early and often.

• Targeting August for the next release. This is our first attempt at a 4-month cycle, and we’re cautiously optimistic it will be a better rhythm for everyone.

Now for the Good Stuff

July is officially Teaser Month. We’ll be dropping one post a week, slowly revealing an image piece by piece like we’re running a slow-burn Batcomputer file decrypt. Then in August, the full image gets revealed and we let the hype really begin.

Build Progress

We’ve stepped into Alpha territory now. That means the boring backend stuff is mostly done, and our internal testing team will soon get their claws into a rough build. In the past, they were lucky to get the build hours before launch. This time, we’re giving them actual time to test pacing, flag issues early, and help us stay focused on what really matters: impactful content.

The result? Better planning, smoother builds, and fewer last-minute Wolverine-style panic attacks.

All in all, this cycle has thrown some curveballs, but the process improvements are real. Like the X-Men, we’re not expecting flawless victory. We’re aiming for progress, resilience, and a badass team that’s still standing at the end of the battle.
