She pushes the door open and walks inside. Inside is a bar. It's small, with a stage, a jukebox, and a bunch of tables. Most of the people inside are human-looking, except a few. That catches Annabeth's eye.
Annabeth walks to the bar and orders a drink. As she waits for it, she observes the bar and the people inside. They're not very lively. They all look depressed and sad. Some of them are even looking straight forward like a zombie. She hope she's figured out why they look so downtrodden.
"Hello there," a female voice said from behind. She turns around to see a tall and beautiful woman. Her skin is very white, her hair is pure black and her eyes are a piercing blue. "What is such a heavenly creature of the gods doing here?"
Annabeth's eye was raised at that comment. She said. "Oh, are you a demigod too?"
"Not anymore, dearie."
Annabeth was curious, so she asked. "So you're not a half-blood?"
"No, my child. I'm a fallen angel. You can call me Azazel."
"Oh, so you were a servant of a God or goddess before. But not anymore. So are you a fallen angel now? Why are you working in a place called 'Hell's Gate'?"
"Oh, sweetie. Hell's gate isn't a real gate. It's just a name. And, no I'm not a servant of Lucifer. I'm not an evil demon."
Annabeth looks at her skeptically. "But, you're a fallen angel..."
"Yes, sweetie. Please come with me. My master wishes to meet you. He has been trying for a few weeks to get a daughter of Athena." The older woman motioned her to follow her.
Does Annabeth follow the woman?
