FIRST SNOW
Added 2022-05-18 04:00:02 +0000 UTCI'm not crazy. I remember lots of snow in winter when I was a kid. We'd often get snow days off school and there was always enough snow to make a snowman. I still live in the same area and these days we get one good snow fall all winter if we're lucky. One. I'm not crazy.

2022-06-14 01:12:07 +0000 UTCI grew up in the Midwest where heavy snows were common. One year, a new family moved in from Samoa; they'd never seen snow in their lives. When the first snowfall of the season came - at three o'clock in the morning - they were running down the street banging on everyone's doors shouting "Wake up! It's snowing! Come outside!" They were laughing and dancing in the snow... I'd never realized until that moment just how wondrous snow really is. Having seen it through their eyes, I'll never forget. Cultural diversity is freaking awesome.
