I'm not quite sure how to read that last panel, I assume played straight but... Myles' dad, by the nature of the comic, has had almost no screen time. He's been scary, strict, disinterested, and even a prankster; but it's not like we've seen them bond over a game of catch or playing a board game. I'd be really surprised if this went all dark with Myles angry at his dad next page, but at the same time "Myles crying over how much he loves his dad" doesn't feel like a scene that their on screen interactions have built to. Or maybe I got an email alert on the way to bed and I'm overthinking things late at night. PS: Great arc, absolutely loving it.
