So, would you guys like to see longer story arcs with in the Teen Years comic? I can do the one-offs all day but arcs are better for exploring the characters. That said, I’m worried once a week would be a pretty slow pace to update and extended story arc.

Oooh, cool! Since I became your supporter I have been catching up with everything chronologically here, as you see, I'm nearly there 😁

Eehad

There is currently a story arc in motion. Search the teen years tag to see all the comics

Tauhid Bondia

Little late to the debate, new supporter of yours, but I'd also like to see story arcs of the teen years. If you have any in mind, you could maybe trial a 4 or 5 parter to see if people think it's too slow, before doing a really long one?

Eehad

arcs would be great :)

Maureen Albertson

I am ok with having a story arc a week at a time. Builds the anticipation for the next installment.

Cheryl Granger

Well, if people a patient enough to wait one week for new content in an anime/manga, I think that time frame is fine. 😁 I think that you should take your time and do what you think is best. The time you take to flesh out the arcs will more than likely lead to engaging stories.

Damian Perry

I'm absolutely loving the Teen strips and I don't think one a week is too slow if you wanted to try some arcs!

plainswalker75

Yes!! Definitely signed up to be a patreon for this :)

Lily Brodber

I will be happy to see long story arcs ♡.

Pierpaolo Di Camillo

Arcs!

Viand

I trust you to know what you can and can't commit to doing, but I will say that Miles and Kevin are thoroughly compelling at both ages

Mattezhion Zane Corgan Campbell

Would love to see some arcs!

rey

Sounds nice!

Louise Anne Algenio

I’d love to see some character development in story arcs. I also wouldn’t worry too much for slow updates it keeps us on our seats for longer. Another idea is you could add one panel to each release for more story.

Elise Beaufeaux

Arcs are good, I don't think you should add any extra onto your plate though! Once a week still works. Maybe more updates if you get a number of patrons you feel happy with balancing that with. ☺️

fruit salad

Honestly...whatever revs your engine. Once a week is not too slow a posting schedule for a storyline. But I just want to keep getting work that you're digging doing, because that's when we get the fire.

Hunter Black Comics

I want all the things and I love the teen years.

Charlie Amiot

I would love to delve deeper into their older stories! I can wait, I’d be more than happy to wait - teenage years tend to allow you to explore more serious or deeper topics, so please go wild!

JestInCase

Arcs sound great, once a week is fine!

Arianna Dyck

I read webcomics with long storylines that update once or twice a week that then go on hiatus for months before resuming, so yeah I can wait. Honestly once a week is really quite speedy in my experience, especially as a side bonus for patreon.

Brian

I'm pretty patient, I'd prefer a proper story and don't mind the wait!

George Marionerd

I like the slow drip of the Teen Years foreshadowing the teen years and vica versa.

Matt

This definitely puts any doubts I had to rest. In fact I plan on launching the first arc on Monday. Any Kyle fans in the house should enjoy it👍🏾

Tauhid Bondia

I'm in no rush, a weekly arc would have some fun anticipation to it.

Marcus Kaeso

Yeah arcs!

Bobby M

Yea I'd say go for the arcs, the weekly wait won't be an issue

Fatima

Yes please

shkmiffle

I would love this!

momentumlost

I think once a week is just fine for an arc. I've read tons of webcomics that update with that frequency.

Colachan

ARRRRRRRCS

Amy Frushour Kelly

I'm in for either!!!

LS

Yes. I'd love story arcs

Luis Heard

I'd totally be interested!

Aditya Rameshan

Once a week long story would be like the "good old days" when we needed to wait a week for our next episode on TV 😉

Nicolas

Absolutely

Joe Weatherford

Okay then! Arcs it is! Thanks guys.

Tauhid Bondia

I think a mix of both would be good. The possibility to explore their teen lives more in depth is intriguing, but I also enjoy the one-off Calvin & Hobbes style. Perhaps short story arcs with a few standalones peppered in between each arc would work. But don't overwork yourself! What's important is that you don't feel overwhelmed!

Eve

hekk yeah

RabbitWitch

Personally, It's why i joined patreon. Im invested in the story of them becoming older and seeing how differently they have become. I really enjoy the teen years and look forward to what you have to make. Besides that, continue doing your works!!! You're amazing my friend.

Christopher Perez

Once a week works fine for manga, and it works for me too. Story arcs pls

Corey

YESSSS. i feel like there's a lot that can be explored with these characters at different ages and I totally don't think once a week is too slow!! one offs are still awesome and hilarious as always, but i really love the thought of delving more into these characters lives and their world!

Kurt Lewis

Yes! I would love that! Once a week is still plenty! Make sure not to overwork yourself though!

Viktoria with K

I'd love that! I love your extended arcs for the younger versions. I'm not worried about once a week.

Jessie Parker

I would love to see extended story arcs and character developments! I also feel like once a week updates are actually pretty reasonable for long story arcs, because they may take longer to create.

ArtsieTango

I love the idea of them having sorry arcs!

Kayla Davie

I say go for it. I’m loving the gag-a-days but a bigger story sounds rad.

Woodson Baldwin

Arcs would be awesome! Once a week is like a newspaper, so it’s fine, I think we can deal!

Maars 73

Once a week is still a treat! I'd love to see more in depth arcs personally ❤
