Fox) obtains a 70-year-old message from the time-traveling Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), in which he informs Marty that he has retired to a small town in the Old West. Marty then finds out that the Doc was murdered shortly after sending the letter. In order to save his friend, Marty will have to travel back in time, disentangle a lovestruck Doc from a local schoolmarm, and repair the DeLorean -- all while avoiding a posse of gunslingers.

The third installment of this is SUCH a good movie on its own. I like it better than the 2nd. The relationship between Doc and Clara is the spice we never knew we wanted out of the Back to the Futures. Also, "yellow" or "yellow-bellied" was a common slang term for "coward" in the 1800's. So yes, Buford was using a 19th century equivalent of "chicken". Also also, in case you missed connecting the dots, Marty drag racing Needles at the end there and almost hitting that Rolls Royce was the future 1885 Doc was referring to. In the 2nd movie, while we are at Marty and Jennifer's future home, 2015 Lorraine recounts with the family how Marty got into a car accident back in 1985 because someone called him a chicken, which is what broke Marty's hand and prevented him from being able to play the guitar, "ruining his musical career". We just watched Marty avoid that fated accident. So not only will Marty never be fired because he's evolved beyond that insecurity, but he possibly won't even have an office job to begin with, doing something else with his life entirely. Glad you loved the movie. This is certainly one of my favorite movie trilogies of all time, if not THE most.
