The river has run dry here, and the south bank is lined with jagged stakes to prevent anyone crossing without using the bridge. A crudely assembled palisade looms over the scene, built from the bones of the forest.

Sorry for the delay on this one, folks - I'm really loving my time with Clip Studio Paint, but I keep finding myself getting side-tracked by experimenting with new ways of tackling different aspects of the maps - I couldn't tell you how long I spent on the grassy terrains before I settled on something I liked.
That said, I am happy with the results - I still have a long way to go with the software, but I feel like I'm already doing things with it that were beyond my capabilities in Dungeondraft, which is exciting. I'm very eager to see where the software will take my map-making.
I'm still planning to launch my Discord and start providing Foundry modules this month if I can catch up with the map-making itself, and I already have some ideas and sketches ready, so it should be perfectly feasible. Whatever the case, I'll keep you posted!
