Moss has begun to grow over the stones of the old well, the winch has begun to rust, and the roof that stands over it all seems like it could scarcely withstand a strong breeze, its frame showing the early stages of rot.

An old well, sealed some time ago, draws from an underground stream. Perhaps it was sealed for the simple reason that the water was making people sick? Or perhaps the well is haunted, or it serves as a hiding place for some lost treasure?
One idea that struck me for this map was that someone in a nearby settlement had been murdered, and their body was thrown into the well - I like the idea of the well being haunted by their ghost, and this encounter with a (potentially hostile) specter could point the party towards the ghost's murderer in a nearby town or village.
I'm sorry for the wait on this one, folks - honestly, I think I didn't take enough time to rest after travelling back from the US, and it really caught up with me over the last week and a half. I'm still hoping to release five maps this month (two more before May, to clarify), but I might try to take a few days off map-making after that so I have a chance to recover. Thank you for your patience!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they usually come with day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT if the map features buildings or interiors.
