I'm so touched by the outpouring of warmth from long time Patrons and new Patrons as well. To be honest, I actually started crying reading some of the nice comments you all have left. I'm infinitely grateful to you all <3
I started painted version 1 of Dandelion Hair in early 2021, but I was never happy with the result. I'm not even sure if I'm happy with version 2, but with each iteration I aim to improve until I am happy with it. Maybe in another year or two I'll tackle version 3.
Here's version 1, quite a different style
sketch of version 2 made in Procreate, I started this before the Twitter drama, which really disrupted the workflow of this painting since I couldn't get back to it until over a week later.
The 30 second time-lapse is in the attachment. full time-lapse will be DMed on August 5th, along with the HD images and PSD files.

People were mostly upset about you supporting the use of AI. Not necessarily that you used it in your “A Thousand Skies” painting. And you HAVE used AI for some things yes, but then again, other creatives did try it out themselves when it was first testable. It was viewed as a new tool. Anyone that knows your work clearly knows you can draw and have skill. And you’ve always been very transparent about your process (which is awesome). Most people are/were upset or wondering if you still support the use of AI since it is seen as a huge threat to creatives and the environment. And you haven’t clearly stated whether you do support it or not. That’s what most people are wanting to know. At least that’s the understanding I’ve gained from peoples concerns from all I’ve read up on. In any case, I think you’re an incredible artist. In many ways. Take care Miss Yuumei.
