A Thousand Skies
Added 2024-07-10 02:27:56 +0000 UTCThis one truly took so long to paint. The video recording of the process took 10 sessions instead of the usual 3. But I'm really happy with how it turned out!
I've always loved the impressionist art style above all other oil painting styles, so it's been a blast studying the works of Monet and modern impressionists, and adding my own touch to the skies as well.
The painting started with me building a 3D model in SketchUp to figure out the best composition
after that, it's sketching out the figure and roughly coloring in the vibes of each painting
the longest process by far is slowly painting in each cloud, moon, star, stroke by stroke. I'm so used to cloud and star brushes for my usual style and this gave me a new appreciation for traditional painters. 
And the rest is just coloring in the figure and touching up on the details.
The full high rest image without watermark will be DMed on the 5th of each month :) As well as the 10 painting process videos, PSD file of all the painting layers, and the 3D model from SketchUp so you can pan around the space.

For me Art is about honoring the creator for their hard work. I also don‘t really care if you share my „precious“ rewards publicly - It‘s not like I don‘t get them. I‘m subscribed to support you and your art, not to gain something from it. Just keep doing your thing and don‘t let others shit talk you ;)
