I loved sculpting with clay but there's always that uncanny valley moment when the shape is just human enough but I haven't added the eyes yet. Or worse, the eyes didn't turn out right the first time and I had to smooth them away to redo them. Kind of nightmare fuel ahahaha

ahahaha I had to do something like that too in highschool. I pre-emptively chopped the head in half so it didn't blow up and looked too creepy to resemble anyone

2024-07-01 16:31:50 +0000 UTCMy senior year of highschool I had to do a self portrait but as a clay bust. It was weird. I was not super upset when it blew up in the kiln because I still got credit and my mom didn't put it on display somewhere in the house.
