Castle Ravenloft 2nd Floor - Rooms of Weeping (100x70, 160px)

This floor took a little longer than it could have, largely due to the amount of assets I tried to create for it, and my insistence on mapping the tower in the treasury (I have provided the upper floor and the roof of the treasury as tiles for Foundry and within JPEGs of the whole floor, so use whatever works best with your set-up!). It took a lot of work, and I imagine most folk won't even pick up on all of the detail, but I'm pretty proud of the result!

Most of the assets I created for this were drawn with my tablet, while others were cobbled together through a combination of Forgotten Adventures' assets and stock images or textures. I'm particularly proud of the Helm of Brilliance in the Treasury, Strahd's bedding (one of the aforementioned assets formed using stock images - a pattern from textures.com in this case), the breastplate on the body in the False Treasury (the module says the body's wearing plate, so I had to, you see), and the portrait of Tatyana in the Study (which features the official artwork for the portrait within an incredibly simple gold frame, because I can't actually draw without following a reference very closely).

As many of my Patrons know, mapping Argynvostholt proved to be an incredibly frustrating experience for me - to the point that I considered giving up on the project in its aftermath, and wound up restructuring my Patreon to take off some of the pressure. In a bizarre turn of events, the fact I've started drawing my own assets and have committed to an even greater level of detail than before has somehow revitalized my love for making battle maps - I was terrified of mapping out Ravenloft again, but despite its significant challenges, I'm having an absolute ball with it. So, thank you for sticking by me - your support really does mean the world to me, and I'm glad to share this journey with you!

My maps are made primarily with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA assets (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs or UVTTs and transparent layers (PNGs or WebP, map depending) for Foundry VTT.

Hi Sven! I did actually provide a variant with the original table placement - they should be in every folder, but if not, I'll try to correct that ASAP!

I have a little question. is it possible that you post a version of the main floor where the dining table has been rotated by 90 degrees? I would like my players to meet Strahd not at the organ but wating at the head of the table and it would be more menacing when he sits across from them when they enter the room. No biggie if you don't find the time though. Never mind :) just saw you had both positions already :)

Yep, perfect!

That *should* have fixed it - let me know if I'm mistaken or you catch anything else! :)

Just tested them in Foundry myself and I'm having the same issue. That's certainly not ideal... I'll try to figure out the source of the issue and correct it as soon as I can!

Great as always, one comment, it doesn't appear for me that the treasury and belfry cobweb webp files are transparent.

Thank you so much, Andy! It would be an absolute honor if you were to use my maps for your game, but I hope you manage to tackle the castle before your players get there - I'm excited to see how you'll handle it!

These are amazing!! I know Castle Ravenloft is a beast but I'm glad you are hitting this location. At the rate I'm going I'll most likely be using your maps for my own personal CoS game!
