Drawing all the things I miss

Last year this time I would be going to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in SF, but that and everything else has been canceled due to the pandemic. I've been missing all the street food and flowers, so I dug up some old photos from Japan and painted over it. It helps during that bad times to remember the good times.

Speaking of bad times, I recently noticed a painful lump at the base of my ring finger on my right palm. I spoke to a doctor on the phone and she said it's most likely a ganglion cyst caused by overworking. She warned that since she can't examine me in person or take xrays due to covid19, I should take it easy with my drawing just in case it's something worse. Hopefully I can get surgery to have it removed once things are back to normal. Until then, I won't be able to draw as much but I'll do my best to keep creating.
