Over and Under
Added 2018-03-13 04:59:25 +0000 UTCI've been working on Fisheye Placebo and Knite for so long that it feels like I haven't done any original paintings in forever.
Here's a 2 hour speed paint I just finished, and it feels so good to let my imagination flow again. This painting features Fantine and Lala from my WIP children's book "Dream Without Dream". You can see some of my other drawings of them below.
I actually remembered to record my painting process this time (I used to always forget lol). The full 2 hour video will be available for all $10+ patrons in early April, and the HD files will be out by then as well :)

It's a little bit of both, I already have a vision, but it's not super clear, and as I paint, there's a bit of trial and error to see what looks good, but the general concept is already there. When I post the video process, you can see all the things I've erased and redid while working out the final details :)
