Progress Report
Added 2025-05-14 20:24:52 +0000 UTCNormally I never make a contentless post, but the day after I posted "Cheerleaders," a very significant event dropped into my lap and if I could summarize it in one word, it would be "distracting." This has not been an amazing week for raw productivity in the form of words written, but I have definitely made good progress on several stories. I just left an entire group of friends that I have been spending time with regularly for over eight long years now and it felt significantly heavy.
My writing is very important to me right now and it's the main thing that I'm doing with my life. I'm working on these stories every day and I really can't have unnecessary distracting noises in the form of relationships that no longer serve me. I have decided to depart from this group forever so that I can have a more peaceful life with less distractions, and I can focus on my writing.
I'm doing well and my spirits are high, but that was a draining experience that didn't help my raw productivity.
Here are the areas I'm making progress in right now.
1) The Survey - 6 pages of the next chapter with halted/stuck progress
2) The Mighty Jennifer - 6 pages of remastered fan request material
3) My Daughter's Best Friend - 5 pages of complete material fully unblocked
The biggest breakthrough I had is that I know what I'm doing with my next chapter of My Daughter's Best Friend. That is moving along quite nicely now. The next chapter will be titled "The Sorceress."
I'm taking my writing quite seriously and initiating direct action to create a life that is harmonious towards my writing so that I can serve you all as best as I can.

I really appreciate reading that. I got so darn sick after that distracting event and was like "Ughhh, it will look like I'm making excuses." It's actually so difficult to write while I'm sick. I'm making strong slow progress on My Daughter's Best Friend currently. I can't write for very long before I need to lie down again. Otherwise, my spirits are quite high and I feel great. I'm enjoying working on these projects.

2025-05-17 16:05:30 +0000 UTCI am sure things will progress. I have fallen very sick physically right after that distracting event and this has been challenging. When it rains it pours I guess. I'm finding it's quite difficult to write while physically ill.
