Newsletter 📰 April 2025

Hey Patrons!! Wishing everybody a happy spring wherever you are, we've got some nice warm weather here in New England lately and it's been awesome to be able to get back outdoors!! Here's the rundown of what's coming up with my art and what you can expect:

🥬This month:

• Once again I'm gonna be down to the wire finishing the painting of Seamus & Eddie during their totally-platonic-we're-just-in-a-hurry shared bathroom routine!! I always get into these big scenes thinking they'll go more quickly than they do 🙈 And, I'm never gonna rush something out the door before it's done and polished the way I like. So I'm counting on a couple late nights to get it ready to present to you guys on the 1st!! As you can see above, I at least have one of the most important elements of the scene completed...

🥬Next month:

• It's May - which means it's time to check in on Coach Dad so we can get his painting finished in time to celebrate Father's Day!! One of the best holidays of the year tbh. I have a fantastic idea in mind for Coach already: picture a relaxing summer Sunday afternoon in an American cul-de-sac. Warm sun, birds chirping, Coach is out in the garage and... well, you'll have to wait til next month for the rest of it 😜

🥬June:

• I've got an idea in my head for June, it's a bit of a wild card, not necessarily related to any of the known cast of characters, but I think it could be a lot of fun and pretty hot. I know some of you are growing distraught over the lack of Tusky lately!! And I agree, it's been too long. Maybe I can fit him in in a quick bonus sketch either next month or in June, cause he always enjoys showing up in the summer.

And that's the art update!! Out in the real world, the husband and I went out to Vegas for a debauched long weekend a couple weeks ago - we've been a few times over the years, it's always a blast!! We stayed at the Cosmo this time, which would have been awesome, but the noise coming up from their pool dayclub was truly impressive lol 🙉 Any of you guys been there and have favorite spots?? Let me know, I love comparing Vegas notes.
