Yeah, the Japanese music is way better and much more fitting. Unfortunately 4Kids cut out a bunch of it and put in poor replacements instead. The voice actors are also a million times better. Thankfully, this does get fixed by Diamond and Pearl where they also keep in much more of the Japanese music. 4Kids lost the license to Pokemon for a reason after all. The anime's creators weren't happy with how the dub was handled either. 😂
