π₯¬This month:
I'm hard at work painting this scene of some neighborhood dads at the cabin, on their winter weekend getaway together! The snow's coming down, the hot tub is fired up, the cooler's full of beers... best way for some local dads to let go of their inhibitions and relax together a little. Most of these guys will be unknown characters, but you might recognize one!! π§’
The holidays have disrupted my normal work patterns a bit and I'm a little behind schedule. I might not have this scene ready to drop til a couple days into Jan π I'll do my best!!

π₯¬Next month:
What's gonna be the first painting of the new year?? Well... In the poll I did last month, the runner-up winner idea was Eddie and Kal on vacation, and an idea has been developing in my head for that! I think I'm gonna steal that as the topic for January's painting. It'll be an outdoor scene by the pool, somewhere tropical, and maybe a little bit steamy π₯΅ππ
Bonus content coming in January: D&D-style character stat sheets! I'm going to start with Seamus & Eddie, and if you guys get a kick out of them, I can expand to other characters in the future. These will be more real-world focused, with stats like "Humor", "Passion", and "Empathy" etc. There might be an after-dark section to the stats too... π
π₯¬February:
February is sounding pretty wide-open at this point!! I'm gonna let ideas bounce around in my brain in the upcoming weeks and see what bubbles to the top. We haven't seen Tusky in a bit, nor any of our fantasy characters. It could be a good time to design a new character and add one to the roster? Or maybe it'd be interesting to get a look at how Seamus is coping with Eddie and Kal being on a romantic getaway together... possibilities, possibilities. We'll see.
That's the update for art stuff! How was your guys' holiday season? I dont know about the rest of you, but the holidays can bring out some weird stresses and emotions - my mental health has been in the absolute dumpster for this past month. Ugh. Cheers to the upcoming new year, and also cheers to getting back into a normal, healthier rhythm imo!! π
Despite all that, I'm grateful for 2024, especially for all the opportunities I had to create art with support from YOU! I feel so fortunate to be able to do all this, and I have you guys directly to thank for it. Thank you, and happy almost-2025 everybody!! πππ

'Dads at the Cabin' looks to be fantastic, thank you for including our favorite Dad among them. π
