Newsletter 📰 November 2024

Greetings patrons!! Happy upcoming Thanksgiving to my american buddies, and anybody else who just wants an excuse to eat a huge meal. Here's a bit about what's coming up on here with me and my art:

🥬This month:

• The scene of Seamus & Eddie at the concert is coming along!! I've been painting all the details in grayscale first, I'm gonna do the colors and lighting in a second pass. I have a good idea for the lighting setup that I think will look pretty cool and eye-catching, just gotta see if I can pull it off.
  
• 🦋Bluesky >>>>>>> Twitter. The migration continues! Twitter (X?!) continues circling the drain, I'm pretty much completely inactive there now, so if you want to keep up with me on social media, come follow me on Bluesky instead! 🥬Next month:

• December's painting topic was wide open and up in the air, so I let the high-tier patrons vote on it last week. The results were a landslide, everybody voted for the "wild card" option!! Which means it's chef's choice, you guys have no idea what you're gonna get, haha. Most likely won't involve any of the established characters, this'll be a purely fun scene of whatever my filthy brain can come up with in the moment. I already have some ideas 😈
  
• Mayyyybe a little bonus painting coming next month too? Hopefully I can find the time, it's already in progress. No promises! But keep an eye out🍀
  

🥬January:

• In January, I'm going to hijack the runner-up idea from the poll, which I already have a good scene planned for! It'll be Eddie and Kal on vacation somewhere tropical, more to come about that... 🌴
  
• Bonus content alert: I've been wanting to fill out some of those D&D-inspired character sheets that list a character's traits, skills, personality type, alignment etc, for a couple of my OCs. If that sounds confusing it'll make more sense when you see it, haha. I think it'll help enrich the sense of who they are!!
  

That's the art update!! Hope you guys are all doing well and enjoying the fall. I signed up to run in my town's thanksgiving day 5k race and it starts at 7:30am?!? I am the farthest thing from an early bird, so please pray to some deity for me, cause I'm gonna be suffering!! 🙈 Anyway, thank you thank you as always for your support, I love having you guys around to share all this art with - the conversations and back-and-forth with you guys makes this whole process worth it. 💚
