finished all the panels on this page. I'm sporatically working on what i feel i can finish instead of stressing out about a whole page. its working well. But disorganized.

lineart by August 3rd. first pages by August 5th.

I'm not fine, I'm losing my mind. But I'm actually working on the comic. I'll have all the lineart done and posted soon. And I'll start working on cleaning up and finalizing pages.

Whether it's livinlovindude comic, or lioness comic. Or chapter 6. Which I might not share for a while while I sketch it.

VWD: Chapter 5 - Cover Page

I could do a bit more, but happy with it now. Giraffe slide weeeeeeeeee. You've all thought of it before.

VWD - CH Sketches: PG 67-72 (END)

Indigo gets the courage to finally *physically* stand up for Violet. And fuck the lioness into submission. But the damage has been done, Violet's skin and hair had the acids eat away at them. Is she alright? She starts to wake up, but Indigo gets chased off by a Lion, led by the two daughters of the mother. The father lion claims Violet as their prides property. How will she get out of this now? Finished resketching Chapter 5's last 5 pages. Lineart can continue now! <3 I'll be cleaning up...

Chapter 5 pages to start soon!

- Hiring russian colorist from chapter 3 again. And he's working on PG 56-58.

- I'll be cleaning up the cover page, and doing PG 59-60 double page spread next weekend.

- Von is slowly working through most the porn section (PG 62 -> 69)

- And I'm lining the last 5 pages.

If all goes well, I'll soon be sketching out chapter 6, while finalizing chapter 5 pages as they get colored by the assistants <3

Von just returned pg 62, ill clean it up and post it tomorrow! I was spiraling downwards for the past week,but von pulled me back out. I started pg 67 of lineart. And I will strive to finish up to the final page (72) by next sunday!

Final stage of lineart!

I just resketched out the last several pages!

I'm now lining everything asap. If I can work efficiently, I can finish the last 8 pages of lines in 8 days! I'll try my hardest, but most likely i need to space it out so i dont burn out.

PG 63-64 linework

Slowed down, but got the pages down finally. I'm going to be resketching last 5 pages, so will be slow until I figure out whats best for this chapter. Have one huge focus of this chapter I want to make sure I frame right <3 More than halfway done, and everything is getting flatted and colored in the background.

When chapter 5 is finished, I will be raising Meal Friend prices back to what they used to be 2 years ago.

The jpy has falled drastically because of covid and war in ukraine/russia.

My pricing was originally 5.50USD, but it's dropped down to 4.47USD!

Especially since I'm trying to hire out a lot of work, I need to price myself correctly.

Assistant status

tl;dr: I need a second colorist assistant, and potentially a sfx/dialogue assistant. I'm working towards finishing middle of chapter 5 first.

Situation is I'm hiring assistants so CH 5 can be finished while i do all the lineart. I have:

- 2 flat colorists who have already done work on what I lined

- 1 background photomontage artist, who is trying out tomorrow ( and probably making it )

- 1 sfx/dialogue person wish washy on tr...

Violet's Wildlife Diary: Chapter 5 Lineart Progress!

Finished lining 5 pages in one week! New record! Ready to start hiring 2 flat colorists! Testing someone for SFX. Found someone potential for backgrounds. I still only have the one colorists, which won't do. But as I continue to line this chapter I believe I'll find at least one more!

Pounce lineart! + Lioness names and personality!

Pounce! Queen Imara goes in for the kill. While happy Tiifu is having a fun time backing her up. Rani doesn't even bother putting in the effort, it was a drag to go hunting anyways. Imara is the mother of her two daughters she's taking hunting. She is serious about it while Tiifu is too playful. And Rani, is too tired and lazy to put much effort in.
