Looking forward to exploring old west themes. I will also try to get some practice drawing furniture. My ultimate goal is to learn how to draw backgrounds efficiently and I think limiting myself to a western theme will help in that. Lets see how that goes.

There is a lot of experimenting with this sketch. As you can see with the time-lapse I did not have a clear picture of the pose I wanted. It is best when you know exactly what you want but when you don't, like I was here, you spend a lot of time "feeling" things out. I find that to be fun but sometimes time is short.

Here is the drawing right before I start to ink. There are still details that need to be refined but I'll do that in the inking stage.
Something I usually don't do is to do a tone or grayscale study. I still struggle with color and perhaps doing this will help me. We will see.
As a reminder, a time-lapse will be posted but once I'm finished. Hopefully tomorrow.
