Heh. Yeah, naturally we had to post something for the Pokemon anniversary and this has been due for more for a bit. We've got a number of these sitting but they've kind of been sitting long enough they take some configuring to get up to our more current standards so it's kind of easy to put off.
Hoping for something or other good today. Don't really care about ZA at all so hopefully there's something else to latch onto.

Bit down to the wire but wanted to get a second one of these out for the month and here we are! Adam improvised the bit with Emily in the last panel in outlining it and thought it was a fun joke so rolled with it.

Avatar celebrates its 20th anniversary on the 21st and this is the last update before then so what better time than now to post this one? Kind of split on if it should have dialogue or not but seems a bit self-explanatory; we used this one for testing out switching to a different art program than we normally use thus the heavier, moodier shading, kind of wanted to keep the image itself simple to facilitate that experimenting. Hope everyone enjoys.

Sometimes when pictures sit for long enough we start to go "Ehhhh, they could be better." That sorta happened with both of these so eh, dropping them together.
Kurama's easily my favorite Yu Yu Hakusho character so was fun to draw him, plus always good to work with the Three Houses cast. Need to try both of these again sometime, see if we can't get better results.

Well, our girl is uh.... Recovering from the latest developments. After spending the last few pages in various levels of shock, confusion, and panic, she's starting to relax and.... adjust to the gravity of the situation.
In general had a LOT of fun showing Erika just visually adjusting to what happened, especially the stunned thousand-yard-stare in the first panel and the silly little dance she's doing in the third. Just great images to sell her being so adorably weirded out by her new underw...

We were a bit split on what to go with for this update, but ultimately decided on this one since they just reconfirmed the movie the other day and we've got another picture in progress with the series we can post for when that actually comes out. This is one we've been sitting on for a good while now and are quite happy with so yeah, hope everyone enjoys.

Heh... So fun fact; before we started doing Erika's New Perfume as a comic we were really, REALLY tempted to try adapting Sitter Sitting into one instead. It wound up coming down to a few key factors, being one being that Erika would be a much simpler project, but.... I mean, we do want to keep our options open. Martin scripted and drew this whole bit just to explore how Su would work for this format and get a look at how she'd go.
This was a total surprise for me and put a big smile on my face...

Heh, always good getting back to this story, been a little bit since the last page at this point. Heheh... New year, new Erika comic, VERY cute little diddy to immediately be showing off; it's a bit of a heavier page than normal for her, but there's a lot of panels.
Either way, this was a fun one to get out; having that one static shot of her and just focusing on her expressions and body language. Made for a really adorable sequence, especially in the final panel when the realization of what just happened hits her. ^_^
