Class is in session, and it looks like your new teacher has her eyes on you, and you alone~ (¬‿¬) This is a smaller set for sure, but because of that, it allowed me to push the detail and complexity farther than I would normally be able to do. And while I like making the big packs from time to time, these small in number but detailed drawings are more my jam.

Sometimes you just need a slight change of pace, and these sketches of Osana are that in many ways, cause ya know, I just don't make fun lighthearted drawings like this that often, but this one has been fun! :D Now I just need to redraw them digitally... Do you like these kinds of pages? Ones where I draw multiple angles and poses but will probably lack variations and other details once finished and will most likely have a plain background. I think swimsuits are a fun thing you can draw to really test your design skills, as they come with a few loose "rules" when creating them, yet still come with so many options! Do you want it more sexy or cute? Revealing or reserved? Classy or raunchy? What color? Is there a pattern? So many possibilities! Then there's the actual drawing and painting of the swimming suits, while they may seem very simple to draw and shade, if you really want them to look nice, fine details like folds and seams ...

When I first made the Orihime sheet back in May I had always planned to spend some extra time to flesh out a really nice beach version of her lying down, and now was that time! Overall I am very pleased with how she turned out, she's not perfect, but as an artist, you always hit a point of diminishing returns according to your style and skill level, and I was basically there with this piece. The stars tell a story, yet one goes unheard by most... but not forgotten by her. This one was long in the making, but she's finally here. I am trying something new with Orihime, something I've not done before and I am eager to try out, and that is as you can see a full-page spread of her in multiple poses and expressions! There are still a lot of adjustments left to do but progress is moving along quite smoothly. I plan to have at least a bikini and nude version of all of these poses.
