Sneaky Video Update

Sarah Now 30% Off!

DID YOU KNOW: Arms and legs make up about 30% of the mass of a ██ year old girl. Fascinating!


I’ve finally finished modeling and rigging this “discounted” version of Sarah. It was more trouble than I expected, but worth it since she’s all set up for animation. The portal rings themselves went through some design changes since I initially demoed them last December. They’re a bit flashier now.


Today I have a small poster set featuring Sarah in her new gear. The archive contains captioned, clean, and even a few beta versions because why not!


I’ll just admit it right now… I’m thinking of making a sequel to "Bear Trap". These posters are the result of some of my preliminary explorations for that project. Whether or not that eventual animation will use portal rings remains to be seen.

I’ve wanted to animate this poster forever, so here we are! I’m completely over the moon with the facial animation. It’s a lot of the techniques that I’ve slowly been learning for Belly, only it was easier to implement since this is smaller in scope. The penetration is 💯 too.


I considered making this double-length, but I chose instead to exercise self-control. I feel like every project I do lately balloons and takes up a ton of my time.


This felt great to put together in general. I’ve decided the next poll will be an open-ended questionnaire asking which poster subs would like to see given the animation treatment. If you’re a $5 subber, start giving it some thought!

Poll Results: Box v2 Design

I opened a poll a while back to gather feedback from fans on what direction I should take the Box. It’s way past time I delve into the results… of which there are a lot!

Individual Questions

1. Amount of Clutter

Right out the gate, the results here surprised me! For some reason, I’d assumed the prevailing vote would be for a Giger-esque mess of tubes and mechanisms.


When I think about it, it makes sense; the sparse-ness of the Box is obviously part of its appeal. I’m planning to add some mechanical complexity to the interior walls, but keep the inner space mostly open.


2. Internal tickling system

Votes leaned heavily in favor of adding ticklers of some sort.


I went through a LOT of concepts—spinning rollers, brushes, mechanical hands, tentacles, body-shaped sliding panels, and combinations of the above. After all that, rollers seem like the way to go. There were a lot of reasons it’s the best option:


They’re easy to hide away. They’re easy to animate. They don’t have long bristles that need to deform. They’re workable in SFM. And most importantly, they don’t need pinpoint accuracy. More on that below.


3. External tickling system

I was kind of dreading the results for this, but the people have spoken, and hot damn do they love tickling and sensory overload.


In the interest of consistency, I’m making the internal and external tickling devices similar. I just need to figure out a visually attractive solution for storing the rollers when they’re not in use.


4. Nipple stimulation

Nearly unanimous vote here for adding nipple stimulation.


This is actually a pretty tricky proposition! With the occupant mostly unrestrained inside the Box, any idea that requires pinpoint accuracy won’t work. Now, I could have the internal camera use ‘software’ to scan the occupant and identify ‘targets’, but that’s not the direction I want to go.


So what do I do? That’s right, baby… more rollers.


They cover enough physical space to make dodging them difficult, and holding the body away from them would be tiring.


5. Soundproofing

Results were fairly split between yes, no, and meh. I will be attempting this, and if it doesn’t look good, scrapping it. I think it’s believable enough that the Box case material is soundproofed itself.


6. Redesigning the “stim sphere”

Most don’t care, which I think is a small blessing. I don’t really want to redesign this, as it’s mostly hidden from view (and I think the current iteration is more than adequate).


7. Redesigning the interface

A surprisingly split vote.


I’m siding with the “yes” voters here though! Since I’m adding a lot of new features, I’d like to reorganize the interface to lay things out more logically. I can also emphasize certain things and fix issues that made the original interface needlessly hard to work with. Win/win/win.


8. Bigger screen

Very strong “yes” vote for this one!


When I get right down to it, though, there’s not a lot of room for additional screen size, so the “enhancement” will be kind of minimal. I hope a small bump in size will look like the kind of revision we’re used to seeing across hardware generations.


I really want to do something with the two versions side by side.


9. Camera button

Vote says “Yes!” without hesitation. This is something I’ve wanted to add for a long time, so I’m glad to see others are on board.


The screen on the front is the perfect place for a view of the inside. A new question arises: Will the display show infrared, given there’s so little light inside the Box? Decisions, decisions…


10. Livestream button

Another “Yes!”, and almost as strong as the camera button. I love the story possibilities this opens up!


11. OneCum™ button

Introducing a new, branded technology to the Box seems like a suitably “version 2” thing to do. The idea would be that the occupant’s orgasm is regulated in such a way that it feels like they never stop cumming. Yikes!


Box fans are on board, and so am I.


12. Removing the “VR” button

Votes are completely split, so I’m going to be leaving it in. This decision is informed completely by the poll, as I would have definitely removed it otherwise. I’ll be moving it to a different area on the interface, since it doesn’t really make sense as an on/off toggle.


The VR training concept has been under-utilized since Box v1. It’s pretty central in the Simon’s Pride story though, and I do like how it reinforces the “training” angle of the Box’ design.


13. Removing the “Lube” metric

I asked fans if I could “Have the box recycle fluids, use futuristic materials that don't need lubrication, or just have an internal supply that lasts a very long time” and they gracefully allowed my wish. Thank you, subs!


14. Awake button

Votes are pretty strongly in favor of having “Keep Awake” be a setting which can be toggled. I like this, as it allows for merciful (or merciless) Box administration.

Highlights from the Additional Comments field

The poll (…questionnaire?) had fields at the bottom for additional feedback. Here are some trends I found.


1. Toe ties

A lot of fans want this. I’ll be putting some thought into exactly how I can accomplish this. No promises, as this may veer into “total redesign” territory for the case.


2. Shock/e-stim

Equally popular in the comments. I’ve honestly never been a fan, but I get it.


I’ll be breaking the “Punish” option down into separate… cruelties, for Box v2. This will allow me to define Box functions more clearly and possibly add shock therapy somewhere on the interface.


3. Mouth gag

A few fans had requests around this feature. Prospects are hazy, though. With the occupant free to turn their head, it’ll be hard to make a gag component that’s automated and enforced.


I could add a gag inside the Box that the occupant (or their handler) manually applies, but I’m hesitant to add loose props or “shelves” within the Box. I feel like the general concept is to have the systems Always Work™ in a completely automated fashion, and I’m hesitant to add real agency for the occupant.


Furthermore, the paralyze and (NEW) Silence settings are effectively different forms of gagging, at least in the fact that you can’t make noise.


4. Swappable "parts"

This is a cute idea. A couple fans wrote that they’d like different dildos and anal components that could be used.


My hesitancy here is that I’ve explicitly written that the components are *boring, efficient, medical, and functional* in design. I’ll reserve the idea for a future design.


5. Misconceptions

A few fans wrote with ideas that the Box, canonically, already does! Breathplay, edging, punishment, etc. I think the message here is that I need to make these functions more obvious and make more content involving them.


6. Pain

I won’t be adding needles or anything traditionally painful. Drugs and nutrients are administered by the Box rectally (!!)


And finally, the MVP comment: “Have someone holding the girl's exposed hand for comfort”. I love this.

In Summary

The big takeaway is that I have a lot of work ahead of me. Some of the features I'm adding can't be "work smarter not harder-ed" around.


The poll was good for getting things started, but I quickly ran into more forks in the road, which is why I’ll be dropping another poll for $5 subbers in a few days.

High Chair

Let’s take a peek into Sherry’s private life. It seems she’s started homeschooling, and her homework has gotten a little… intense.

I approached this poster set with a slightly different workflow, since I wouldn’t have access to my work computer for a portion of the holidays. I exported half a dozen passes of every poster—a base copy, one without contact shadows, one sweaty, one with glass refraction, and two additional copies with different types of glass. Then I stacked them up and used masking to let different amounts of each effect through. It’s a lot like how I normally work, but I had to get everything perfect, as I couldn’t do additional renders. The glass added a lot of complication too.


I’ve already said a lot about the chair itself, so there’s not much left to mention. The seat uses a similar material to the cushions inside the Box. I’m thinking of keeping that one element consistent across the devices I make.


In the end, I feel like a lot of these posters came out very strong. Sherry is so cute, and I tried to focus on giving her a variety of different expressions. She goes on a journey. I hope you enjoy this set as much as I did making it!

New Gadgets and Contraptions

I have three new devices to show off today. I think those of you with bondage-adjacent interests will be particularly pleased!

The High Chair


At some point in early December, I came up with this idea in the middle of the night. I stayed up for hours researching, sketching, and ultimately designing it.


The way it works is pretty simple—it’s a slightly tilted chair, such that the occupant slides downward until their crotch rests on, say, a vibrator. The really fun part is a movable pane of plexiglass that swings down, forming a barrier between the occupant and the vibrator. Everything is sized so that no matter how far you stretch, you can’t quite reach to turn it off.


Originally, it wasn’t a simple strap for a Hitachi. I had a complex locking mechanism built into the bottom of the pane which would latch into a mechanical “stim” component in the chair. It was a bit much. I stripped it down to the state you see above and voilà, you can even see more of the action this way.


A pretty expansive poster set featuring the High Chair will be dropping later this week, please look forward to it! 🪑

The Portal Ring


You saw Sarah holding this peculiar item in the Xmas postcard, and many of you called it right away. It’s a portable portal!


For the record, I’m not pretending I invented this concept. These have been in BDSM art for as long as people have hated drawing hands. Personally, I like animating fingers and toes (no points for guessing that), but I’ve really wanted to do portal-sex for a long time.


I ran into interesting problems while designing it. The size and shape were important to consider. A circular ring—as you often see in art—wouldn’t fit very well, so I used cross-sections of Sarah to make sure it was proportioned to fit her perfectly.


There’s also the matter of the void in the center of the ring, which works both ways and I think looks pretty damn cool. I went through a lot of looks for it, ultimately settling on pure black. Sometimes less is more.


The final problem is actually getting it onto Sarah, in a fashion where I can comfortably animate her. I want to see her really squirm, which means I need these bad boys to stay on her like glue. I’m still working through that at the moment.

The One-Bar Prison


Of the three, this one’s the earliest in development. It’s probably the most sadistic too, so reader beware if that’s not what you’re into:


It’s a very simple contraption—a rigid dildo on the end of a pole, bolted to a platform. For those of you who aren’t familiar, here’s how it works: The dildo is raised into place, and the person being penetrated can no longer lift themselves off of it. Even with arms and legs completely unrestrained, there’s nothing they can reach to lower the rod. It’s tiring, objectifying, and incredibly frustrating for the captive…especially if getting on was *their* idea.


It’s also dangerous, so don’t try this at home! I built in safety features for the sake of my fictional characters, because honestly that's a line I don’t want to cross.


And what’s this? For the truly daring, I have a more advanced build.


I really want to make more contraptions in 2023. It’s something I’m passionate about and I’ve seemingly gotten faster at building them if my success here means anything.


Finally: a fan pointed out that I never publicly disclosed the results of the Box Redesign poll. Whoops! I’ll have a proper writeup some time after I publish the High Chair set.

Wrapping Up 2022

Hey everyone, I’d like to start by thanking you all for your continued support. This has been a quiet time while I cook up some really good stuff, and I appreciate your patience and understanding.


I have a lot of updates, so let’s get to it!

Belly of the Beast

For the last two months, I’ve been trying to finish this animation on-or-before Dec. 31. Spoiler alert: this was not possible. So, uh, let’s talk.


As I near the 70-80% mark in terms of completion, I’m thinking more and more that it’s not fit for wide release. This project was commissioned to feature a very specific kink, and I think it’s a little off the mark for what many of you are looking for. To put it simply, it’s a bit off-brand.


The solution I think is as follows: Finish it, deliver it, and tweak the story a touch to bring it more in line with VLVT-y interests. I don’t even think it’d take very long.


At the least, I’d like to offer you something interesting to chew on. I’ve probably done a hundred passes on the “finished” scenes at this point, and the difference in animation quality is pretty crazy if you look at the old output versus where it’s at now. This is a comparison showing the opening clip as it was last year versus how it looks today: Comparison (MP4)


I’ve spent a lot of time studying body movement for this. I recorded myself to make sure I’ve got the “speed” of movements looking realistic. There’s also animation for the hair and breasts, all kinds of asymmetrical quirks that are easy to miss, and so on. I’m pretty pleased!


One last note: Several of my most devoted fans ask me about this animation every time they have my ear. I love you, really, but please stop… it will be done when it’s done.

FanboxGate

As some of you may know, Fanbox has undergone a bit of an identity crisis. They’ve enacted a policy banning certain types of content from being hosted or promoted on their service.


Now… VLVT is a morally upstanding individual who would never produce and distribute that kind of filth. If you happen to see blurry preview images, altered Fan Card designs, or other such changes, they’re purely coincidental.


This has got me thinking, though, about putting a little more redundancy in place. Going forward, I'll be posting more seriously to Baraag, and I'm going to work on a gameplan to keep my content resilient.

New Contraptions

Oh boy, are you guys in for a treat. Several treats! I have *three* new devices to add to the VLVT arsenal. Two are in late development, and one is fully finished.


I will have a detailed breakdown of the new props early next week. There will also be a full poster set starring one of the new props by late next week. 20+ posters, Sherry, and a bit of a predicament. Look forward to it!


These props were Top Secret™ projects until now—by which I mean "I’m sorry $5+ subbers, I forgot to update the WIP doc…" 🙏 please forgive me.

AI

I’m kind of amused how the internet has become a battleground between pro- and anti-AI-art supporters. The level of hate some people have for “AI Artists” is wild.


And it’s not that I don’t get it. This has been a serious cause of concern for me, personally. I think I’m in a somewhat privileged position—AI can’t make coherent animations, it’s not very good at rendering bondage that makes any sense, and so on. Still, who’s to say how capable it will be in 5 years. Or 10. Hehe, I’m in danger!


However this shakes out, I don’t think being mad at technological advancement is the answer. I’ll just keep on pushing myself to make better stuff.


All this is to say I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting with Stable Diffusion. Here are some of my more decent results, out of *over 1000 prompts*. It’s been fun, but for now I’m sticking with 3D, thank you. I’ll make a guarantee right now: VLVT’s works going forward will continue to feature characters with 5 digits on each limb.

Odds and Ends

I’ve started penning a script for a sequel to the GLaDoS audio. This one has some really choice content, and includes a new character to bring some ~youthful exuberance~ to the series.


I’ve also posed up another Gamer Girl project, but it’s pretty far from done.

I’ve done girl-on-girl before but never something this intimate. They’re really going at it! I think each of the girls shows off their personality just enough, and Sunny gets to be a bit vulnerable for a change. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of lesbian 69… or at least I wasn’t. After engaging with it for this long, let's just say I've learned from my mistakes…


This one really came down to the wire, even though I started animating two weeks ago. It was an interesting challenge to cover all the angles. I’ve done handheld camera-style movement in previous works, but rotating around the subjects was new. In the end, I’m really happy with the result.

Sherry's Long Ride

It's a Sherry kind of month.


This is an animation based on the poster set 'Sherry’s Favorite Ride'. If you liked that, or 'Bad Vibes' which it's based on, you’re probably going to like this!


The project was relatively simple to set up and execute. I already had the scene built, so once I decided to commit, it was off to the races. It only took about a week to put together, with about half the time going into rendering and audio production (sheesh).


I’ve been wanting to do animations that show passage of time. It’s something that I often write about and depict in posters, but I don’t think I’ve ever animated it. I keep thinking about an ending to 'Belly of the Beast' where a lot of time has passed… so here we are.


This also touches on one of my adjacent interests that I don’t often get to cover. Sleeping! In the archive, you’ll find the animation as well as the alternate「Sleepy」version. It’ll make sense when you watch them both.

Gamer Girls 01

VLVT Audio Process

I’m writing this post because I get a huge number of comments and DMs asking details about how I do audio production. This will be a free post so I can link to it forever and ever. Thank you!

Feeling and Intent

A lot of my ideas *start* with audio. 'Bad Vibes', for example, started when I heard Sherry’s pleading in RE2— “Let me GO!”


When I hear something like that, I can't stop thinking about ways to use it. It was so genuine and filled with anguish, which is the kind of thing that’s really lacking in porn at large. I want my porn to fill interesting gaps that other creators are missing.


On that topic, I never source audio from actual porn. It’s too noisy, between the environment, the camera moving around, people breathing, etc. I can instantly tell when I watch a 3D clip if they’re using porn audio. Don't do it!

Voice Acting

“The voice lines sound very realistic, did you hire an actress?”


Sometimes I hire actresses. 18+ actresses, for God’s sake.


I’m very picky selecting an actress. To say it in a few words: I feel like most porn-friendly voice actresses have the same ‘sound’, and it’s not what I’m looking for. If you’ve ever listened to the girls on Reddit’s GoneWildAudio, you might know what I’m talking about. Over the years I’ve found some amazing voice talents, though!


Custom voice work is a difficult process for a number of reasons. Mainly it’s that no matter how specific you get with line direction (describing how a line should be read), there’s always a way to read it that you weren’t considering. It’s like making a wish with a genie...


This means that you’re always choosing between settling with what you have, or going back for retakes. There’s no guarantee that a retake will be any closer to what you need, so you could be wasting time and money.

Prepackaged Voice Lines

Because of all this, most of my animations are actually constructed using repurposed voice lines from video games.


High-quality titles are full of good, well-directed, cleanly-recorded voice work. I’ve delved into game assets—The Last of Us, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Dishonored, and some others—and painstakingly extracted and labeled thousands of voice lines.


In the process of sorting them like this, I've found dozens of lines good enough to build entire stories around.

Mixed Bags

'Bear Trap' is almost completely composed of voice lines from The Last of Us… which is appropriate, but many of Sarah’s lines are actually Ellie.


There’s no good way to get one person’s voice to sound like another’s, but pitch shifting and a little bit of EQ get you part of the way there. Your brain, which likes to make things consistent, does the rest of the work. When you see a character say a bunch of things in a row, you naturally assume they’re all being said by that character.

Voice Acting (the dudes)

90% of Joel’s voice lines in 'Bear Trap' are lines from the game, but a single in-your-face line is actually delivered by a different voice actor I found.


There’s not as much to say about the male voice work, because it’s generally easier to make it fit. I’m not as obsessed with making their lines sound a certain way.

Gasps and Moans

The games above have given me a lifetime supply of breaths, gasps, moans, groans, and so on. I tag their files when I’ve used them, so I don’t accidentally reuse the same moans in different animations… too often.


If that’s not enough, it should be noted that pitch-shifting a moan generally works to make it sound distinct.


I’ve also commissioned a personal sex-moan “library” from a really good voice actress. Occasionally I pick from there.

Wait, so it’s all madlibs?

Yes, basically. It’s unbelievable how much audio these AAA studios produce for games. It’s even more unreal how much can be taken out of context for smut.


I noticed this first in Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I don’t mean how Midna moans every time you dash… It was way back in 2015 when I was making 'Midna Meets a Mimic', and I was extracting all of the sound effects from that game to find relevant audio.


The only thing was… it was all relevant. Every character moans, a LOT.


There are so many ways to bring these sounds together into a cohesive and convincing package, so please don’t think less of it. Like I said at the beginning, it’s all about the intent and the emotion of each line, but if there’s any chance viewers will notice something’s ‘off’, I won’t use it.

Sound Effects

Most of the assorted foley (impact sounds), soundscapes, and gadgetry in my soundtracks are from freesound.org. It’s an incredibly huge library with questionably useful content tags.


Many of the key sound effects, however, I record personally. Consider the Hitachi Wand-like vibrator in 'Bad Vibes'.


Even something as simple as the world’s most ubiquitous vibrator can be hard to find good recordings of, but I had additional needs. The vibrator moves closer and farther from the camera. It gets pressed into Sherry’s skin, muffling its sound, and pulled away. It’s turned on and off repeatedly.


The only way to make that sound convincing was to take the genuine article and physically reenact the moves with a decent quality mic.


It’s definitely worth it in the end! I’ve gotten…detailed comments about how well the sound of the bear or the wand work for certain viewers. Basically, that element crosses the uncanny valley right into sense memory.

Mixing

Next to just *not using porn samples*, good mixing is probably the second most important factor in making one of my soundtracks.


I use Adobe Audition. I may not be completely proficient in its use, but I’ve had a lot of practice! This was back in 2018:

Here’s some basic elements of my workflow:


- Have a track for room noise, and another track for ambience. It makes viewers VERY uncomfortable listening to sex slaps and moaning in a total void.


- Use busses or track-wide effects for room shaping. I like convolution reverb and parametric EQ.


- Whenever the camera angle switches, change the dynamics of your effects—if you’re farther from the subject, make it quieter and echoier. This is where it’s helpful to have easily changeable envelopes for the room shaping FX.


- Don’t be afraid of mono samples. They’re easier to work with and they don’t distort as much when you pitch shift them. Sometimes I hear artifacts from pitch shifting or time stretching in TV shows and it always makes me laugh.


- Try to do *an interesting thing*. Challenge yourself to have the SFX do some of the storytelling.


Besides all that, and perhaps most importantly, treat audio like a first-class passenger. It needs just as much love and attention as the visuals!

End-of-July Update

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a good month. I have some news and updates about all things VLVT.

Belly of the Beast

Things are finally moving on this animation!


One of the biggest things holding me back from completing this has been the audio. For a long while, I just haven’t been happy with it. Lots of people tell me that sound design is the ‘thing’ that sets my animations apart from the rest, so it kills me when the stuff I have just doesn’t hit the mark.


To remedy that, I had all the voice acting redone with a new actress. She was open to getting lots of direction and feedback, so what I wound up with is very close to the vision. The new lines sound a lot more authentic, too.


Another addition to the soundtrack has been non-diegetic elements—sounds which aren’t being created by something in the scene. I’ve been hesitant to use audio cues like this in the past, but it’s working really well in BotB.


I’m currently animating to this revised soundtrack and it’s going more smoothly than before. I’ve also done several revisions on the completed animation, both to add realism and make sure it’s all synced. Currently, I’m working my way into the final third.

Box 2.0 Design Poll

I’ve learned all sorts of interesting things from this. The votes and comments actually changed my mind on a couple things, and made it clear where the mark needs to be for Box 2.0. I’ll have a full breakdown of the poll results in the next few days.

I have ideas for two additional polls, so stay tuned. I’d like to make polls in general a bit more regular going forward.

Research

What a rabbit-hole this has been. First and foremost: audio synthesis.


Last year, I used 15.ai to make GLaDoS speak in GLaD to Have You. That AI, as well as most AI TTS systems, I’d describe as “not even good enough to trigger the uncanny valley effect”. It’s obvious right away that you’re hearing a computer speaking. This is why I chose GLaDoS in the first place—her affectations were already ‘computery’, so making her sound real wasn’t a battle I’d even have to fight.


But I’m more interested in the opposite: realistic, AI-generated human voice. Sadly, everything I’ve tried falls just a little bit short. I did, however, come up with a fascinating use-case. When a person’s voice is muffled by, say, a thick, lined wall—say they’re inside a box for some reason—it’s a lot harder to distinguish artifacts in their speech. That said, getting an AI to emote correctly is still very challenging, especially if they’re supposed to be in distress. Actual voice actresses (plus a little post-processing) will continue to be useful for the foreseeable future.


I’ve also been looking into AI-generated images. I’m sure some of you have been seeing DALL•E 2 cropping up everywhere lately. You best believe I’m on board. There are fairly strict guidelines about producing sexually-explicit material, but there’s a lot I can do to generate worthwhile assets for 2D and 3D. Heck, Haruka almost got an AI-generated poster on her wall in the last image set.


Even further out there is a bit of AI tech that can animate the face of static rendered characters based on supplied footage. How fucking awesome is that? I’ve already got the system set up and I’m going to do a series of tests with this. The finished results won’t be as “clean” as an actual keyframed animation, but there are loads of ways to take advantage of this. I’m looking into using another AI system (such as EbSynth) on the output to change the style into something more artistic/expressionistic. But hey, even if none of this pans out, it’s still pretty exciting!

Subtitled Animations

You should be seeing a lot more of these in the coming months. I’ve procrastinated on these long enough, and I think these offer something fun for fans, hard-of-hearing or otherwise.

Writing

Alchemist Ch. 3 is done. I’m holding onto the release until I can do a poster for it. There’s a chance I’ll just release it anyway if I can’t think of anything good and just want to move on with releases.

Personal

I’m honestly a little apprehensive to even post this, but I’m working on a project that’s a bit bigger than anything listed above. Soon—hopefully some time this year—I’ll be able to quit my job and go full-time as a 3D content creator. My body is ready, but I’m not sure my bank account is.

And that’s a wrap! This was substantially more content than I was originally planning… which is always what happens. But seriously, 26 images in this part alone!


I toned down the “darkness” a bit as things wound to a close. My original concept -spoilers!- had him keep her in more of a 'dungeon', dark and solitary. I had visions of a Box in the darkness, with just her “room” sign hanging from one of her feet. I like exploring abandonment, okay? But following that path just didn’t feel right, and it didn’t let me show Haruka changing at all. I wanted her to undergo an actual change as a result of her time in the Box, so she became a somewhat willing, if still mind-broken, participant.


Ultimately, it ended up being the best version I could conceive, and I’m pretty proud of it. I put some crazy hours in, but it was almost never a chore to work on.


Haruka is so cute. There was a constant temptation to add more ideas and details. Still, I’m excited to go back to some of my more established characters. That goes double for upcoming animations, considering how tough Haruka was to pose. Sarah feels like Easy Mode.

Looks like this will be a four-parter. Doing it in three made things feel rushed if I stuck with the original story plan. The extra part lets us spend more time with the new character and get in his head a bit more. It’s also a bit more room to illustrate Haruka’s dreadful situation and enact little bits of cruelty and kindness.


I’m really happy with how this is turning out. No compromises; it feels good.


Part 4 should be coming out in 1-2 weeks. I’ve already got the sets built and some of the action posed up. After that’s out, the long-awaited tentacle cave animation goes into crunch mode. ~It’s time!~

Don’t look at the calendar, don’t do it! Just pretend it’s October. Or imagine it’s February 14—Valentine’s Day. That’s when I originally planned to release this, back when it was just 4 posters focused on a creampie.


I liked it enough to develop it a bit further, and now it’s *15* posters covering a variety of subjects. There’s a blowjob, name calling, foot fetish, magic domination, and a touch of glans polishing. These girls are busy.


In the archive you’ll find dialogue and dialogue-free versions. Both have their charms. A couple of these are some of my favorite posters *ever*. Sunny’s look on 012 just slays me, and that poster is a whole different beast with and without the massive text bubble. This is my first time doing manga-like action lines and symbology in my art, and it went okay. About what I expected anyway. The cumshot effects are probably the best I've done.


I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. There should be something here for everyone.

Poor Haruka’s losing it in there! The screaming and dialogue were so much fun to make. I just love this series. It’s probably going to hit 40+ posters by the time I’m satisfied.


There’s been a small change of plans—I’m canning the “good end/bad end” split in favor of one continuous, much longer ending. Sorry Haruka! I never expected such a lag between parts 1 and 2, but I kept revising and throwing out the story. It took a flash of inspiration to finally get things moving again… there's one little detail that’ll show itself in the conclusion that just turns the stomach it’s so eerie.


You’ll notice this continues right on from where the first part ended. The files are even numbered to continue where we left off. It really shines when you read through the whole thing. Part 3 will do the same, which should finish this series.


Speaking of, Part 3 is about halfway done, so it should be releasing some time next month. I’ve got more goodies coming soon too! Thank you as always for the support ❤️

Upgrading the Box for 2022

Happy New Years, friends! I hope this one is better for everyone.


For the past few days I’ve been working on some major upgrades for my most used and recognized custom prop. It’s been a long time coming, but the Box is getting an update this year!

These posters were a lot of fun to work on, but surprisingly difficult. Adapting to another art style was rough, but I’m starting to get used to it. The “2.5D” look isn't totally realized in all the posters, but I’m happy with most of it and I don’t want to spend any more time refining this right now.

Man, deadlines are brutal, but they sure do work. I’ve been sinking ungodly hours into this for almost a week, and I just barely finished in time.


My initial idea was far too impractical to achieve in 20 seconds. I wound up doing some other interesting stuff, but I do regret not hitting the mark. I’m considering just… doubling the length of this animation at some point. That’ll let me pad things out and accomplish the *spooky special spectral stuff* I had in mind.


I’m still quite happy with how this turned out. The audio especially! It feels like a return to form.


Now, I must return to my coffin. I’m turning to dust out here. Happy Halloween one and all!

Fall Progress and Delays

First and foremost, this month really kicked my ass. I don’t normally talk about this kind of stuff, but I needed emergency surgery for this one. Yikes. Priorities shifted pretty fast when my ass was on the line, so… there’s not a lot of 3D to show at the moment. I’m doing fine now, and since I’m not a fan of pity-party posts, that’s all I’ll say on this subject. Thank you all for understanding.


On to the news! The Halloween animation is really coming along, it’s about half-way finished. The scene is set up, the characters are in place, and they’re already grinding away. It looks pretty good! I don’t want to spoil it too badly, so here’s a rough out-of-camera shot: WIP

I’ve also been working on the 'Attic' continuation, but it’s coming along slowly. I’m having trouble settling on an overall scope and direction for the story. Part of the process had me creating characters that would exist around Haruka. Here are some of her relatives having a certified-PG moment together:

August Behind the Scenes

Lots of stuff is being worked on! Here are some quick highlights:

Dild™

There’s absolutely no “suction cup dildo” in all of Source Filmmaker that isn’t "Bad Dragon" inspired. What the heck! Sometimes you just want a Regular Old Dildo, but most artists wind up “faking” it by using a penis model. This has driven me crazy for so long. Well… not any more!



This bad boy is jiggly yet firm, and comes in a variety of colors! I’ve created a bunch of controls to let me adjust length, thiccness, shape, vascularity, and so on.


Who will play with this juicy new asset? Stay tuned to find out!

Hat Stuff

I’ve been exploring A Hat in Time’s mechanics and aesthetics to drum up some ideas for Hat Kid’s poster set. Originally I didn't have plans for Mustache Girl, but she grew on me :>


There’s a throwaway mechanic early in the game called the “friendship meter” that I thought would be fun to include.

This is from 'Attic' Pt. 1, but I never showed it off. Haruka’s skirt/sweater combo wasn’t working for me, so I made her something brighter to wear:

Bear Trap Subtitles

A hard of hearing fan asked me to create closed captions for Bear Trap, which got me thinking about doing subtitles for all my video works. I dove head-first into the process and I’m happy with the result!


This is almost 100% done, so expect a post about it soon!

Halloween Announcement

Spooky Season approaches, so I’ve started thinking about what the girls are doing this year. I think I’ve got the concept down: the theme for this Halloween will be an out-of-body experience.


Like the last three, this will be another 20s loop in first person. I’m currently doing a bit of location scouting.

This is going to be two parts.


Part 1 is an introduction to the scenario. Haruka winds up in… a predicament!


Part 2 will present two conclusions: a Good End and a Bad End. This is already in development, though it’s not exactly far along. There’s a little teaser in the archive!


The archive also had a dialogue-free version, and a bunch of bonus posters. The story was in limbo for a while, so there were a lot of extra shots I didn’t need when it was all finalized. One of my favorites is just Haruka being super cute, smiling at the camera. There’s another with a male character that didn’t make the cut, and some alternate angles, etc.


There’s a surprisingly huge amount of work here. I made a whole new outfit for Haruka and designed lots of props that blend in to the scene pretty well. This is also a new adventure in my quest to try 100 different styles of dialogue bubbles and captions before I die.


So uh… listen. Yes, this is another Box-related work. Box-lovers rejoice. But please note, I’m not All Boxes VLVT™. It’s breaking out like a rash, but I promise it’s coincidental. Work continues on other stuff!
