Mermay 2018 - The Complete Collection

In 2018, I set myself the challenge of completing the full range of 31 Mermay pieces based on the official prompts. The challenge had its good and bad results, as a project like this will usually have. I have since pulled the pieces off of social media to keep things clean and curated, but for those who want to see the whole journey, I have collected all 31 drawings AND the sketches I made to brainstorm into this digital 36-page book with the accompanying prompts.

Completing your Art Challenge

Have you ever attempted to complete art challenges like Mermay, Junefae or Inktober without success? Me too!

But after a few tries, I developed a system and mindset that allowed me to complete a full Mermay in 2018, and a full Inktober in the same year after that.
